I've had this baby pre-ordered since the moment the orders went live and for a few months spent getting paranoid about it being cancelled, thankfully Friday morning - she waited, the only neon colored model among black crows, she called as I pulled out my wallet. My store had only a few accessories on hand to sell, well, only 3 pro controllers, yeah. But this and the switch is what I walked away with. Driving home, I looked at her making sure she doesn't run away. Getting home, I laid her on the bed, and got ready to unbox. But FedEx drove up and dropped off another long awaited package :3 Anyway, I love this small game machine and I'm looking forward to support this console throughout its lifetime.

Nintendo Switch is a great device. Especially with so many great games. My top 3: Zelda, Mario Party, Super Mario Maker. So much fun. Comparing with my other digital devices, this one definitely worth buying. If there are more deals on the great games that will be perfect~ I have to say the desktop mode is pretty lame because the little stand feels really fragile and cheap...While I don't use that mode anyway...

I bought one for my son. As a handheld it's awesome, as a console (connected to TV) it is great as well; good build and great feel. Parental controls, coupled with the mobile app, is wonderful. Be prepared to shell out more money for peripherals; like additional joy-cons, protective case, a spare charger, etc. Wish the digital versions of a game was cheaper - there is no shipping, handling, or manufacturing - so why is it priced same as the cartridge; but I digress. With that said, I recomend buying cartridge over digital download. Overall, I would still recomned getting one for the family; two (ehhh) maybe.

Storage is very small so if you like NBA 2k you will need to buy a bigger storage card to save your progress

Great system to play handheld or on a dock, would purchase the Oled version instead however.

We bought 2 of these for a raffle for an employee appreciation day at work. The kids loved it! The 2 individuals that won them were ecstatic, and have had such a great time with them! Now if only we could get them to stop playing them at work. LOL!

I've had the Nintendo Switch since a day after its release and I have to say, what an amazing purchase. As someone who has owned many Nintendo portable and non portable devices, I have to say, this one tops them all. Although there were only a measly five games at launch, now as more roll out its coming together. The Joycons are extremely comfortable in handheld mode, this cannot be said as much with the controller click in. Its too condensed for someone with larger hands. This is all repaired with the Pro controller, absolute necessity if you are someone who has or plans on using the Switch in docked mode. Also, buy a screen protector. Any will do, however a tempered glass one is your best bet. The games are really fantastic on the system, however, Breath of the Wild stands out as a peak best.

It was great system, until we lost the switch. Nintendo should really consider GPS tracking technology so that if it does get lost or someone signs in to the account that we then know where the console maybe. Otherwise great while it lasted.

Family fun for everyone! We all play together, we have a few games but our favorite is Mario party and we also love to play donkey Kong.

I like the fact that it’s a hybrid...you can take it with you or you can play on your big screen. I also like the different controller options. You can play it in tablet mode with the joycons on the side or you can set up the stand and use the tablet as a tv or you can connect a switch pro controller. And now if you have the GameCube Wii U adapter that works also. Only cons I have is apps. There’s no streaming apps or browser

I am so impressed by this hardware! It's esthetically pleasing and it performs very well. Very comfortable to hold. The UI is on point. Nintendo put a lot of work into this platform and it shows. You're missing out if you don't buy this.

My daughter got it Xmas, and she love it (we love it can’t stop playing all the Mario games (I’m old school) so is perfect for me and my girl, because is between the past with the new era!

My son still has his game after 3 years with no problems. The store’s customer service was amazing and fast. Now I’m getting my other son one for his birthday since he’s old enough now.

I was excited, but skeptical about the Switch when it was first announced. I wasn't planning on getting one for a while until a few arrived at my local store. At the time the best game for it was Zelda. I've never really gotten into Zelda before, but I gave it a shot. Zelda Breath of the Wild is a really great game! Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is also another great title! While some may be disappointed that Wii U games are being ported over, I'm excited because I skipped the Wii U. So things like Mario Kart and now Pokken Tournament being ported to the Switch bring great games to what will likely be a larger audience of people. The future line up of games looks great with Rocket League, a couple more Mario games, eventually a new mainline Pokemon game, and much more. There are a few negatives though. The battery life while playing undocked will vary depending on system setting (high brightness/WiFi on) and what game you are playing. Games like Zelda drain the switch in around 3 hours depending on system settings. If you are playing on the go, have your power cable and a portable battery pack. Lack of information about virtual console services. For the moment Nintendo is kind of running in circles avoiding the virtual console service questions by giving vague answers. No easy way to transfer data. There is no easy way to back up your saved data should your Switch get lost, stolen, or damaged. While Nintendo says they are working on something, as of June 2017, there is no such solution. Getting another Nintendo Dock for another TV in the house is expensive. Its also a bit big. Third party accessory makers are already making smaller and more portable docks. These should be cheaper and easier to transport. Accessories for the Switch are expensive. It can all add up quick. Get a screen protector. Just putting the switch in the dock is enough to scratch the screen. Ideally buy the protector with the Switch and apply it before putting it in the dock. For a gaming device, it has a small amount of storage. If you plan on getting a lot of games from the eshop, plan on getting a micro sd card as well.

The system is very tiny, I always like Nintendo systems since they take up very little room on the TV stand. The system is very responsive. The only game I have played so for is Zelda but it works perfect with the system. I hope this sells well for Nintendo and they can get a huge amount of games out for it! This is not a must buy right now, so don't pay more then retail price for it. Just be patient if you didn't get it on launch day. I would say in about Christmas time this will be a must buy!

This is the best system out! Love it. I bring this with me everywhere I go
