I secretly hoped that they would fold and sell all of their IP to Microsoft so that I could play their characters on the systems that I already have. I was wrong. The switch is my current favorite system. The characters are timeless and the replayability is unparalleled.

Ahead of its time... again!

When the Nintendo 64 was out as a new, innovative product to the world, competing companies were there trying to out-do it. When the Wii hit shelves, we thought, nothing can out-do this system. Now, there was the Wii U that flopped a bit but Nintendo has recovered on this one. The Nintendo Switch can be viewed in just the same regard as its successful predecessors. With HD rumble, desktop playability, TV playability, tablet playability, touchscreen, JoyCons attached, JoyCons detached; the combinations are endless. I find myself playing as a tablet most of the time but when I disconnect the controllers and use them separately, my mine doesn't quite know how to comprehend this marvel (in a good way). The Switch is truly in its infancy; I'm extremely excited to see what else Nintendo has in store for this "transformer" of a machine.

Most versatile console ever.

Graphics look great both on TV and mobile, a simple interface and SD style game cards means a lot less loading times, and it can be charged with USB type C cables. Only downside is the buttons and joysticks on the Joy Cons, they could've been a bit bigger. But overall, this is a great and versatile console.
