I’ve waiting for so long and finally got this switch with a nice deal. Although the first Switch I got have lock issue of joystick but luckily I found it in 3 days and able to exchange with a new one without any issue. Switch have lots of fun games like Breath of Wild, Mario Odyssey, Xenoblade 2, Fire emblem, Super smash and Mario Cart. Many of them are Nintendo exclusive. It also nice that Switch have no district lock anymore, unlike Wii or Wii U, finally I can purchase games from japan and still playable on my US bought Switch.

Bought this for a Christmas present and it has been nonstop fun. You can take it with you while out with friends. Makes everyone happy.

Love the switch. All of my kids have one. Only complaint is accessories and games are pricey in stores. You have to go to other place to get what you need extra. We have stable and Great internet yet they disconnect mid game. Also- Nintendo is making me pay each switch it's one year subscription. It has never let me do family. I've tried reaching out to nintendo, nothing gets resolved. We have 4 of these so we are paying easy extra for something that mostly everyone else gets at a steep discount. The joy con remotes last on average 6 months to a year. After my third nintendo remotes broke, i went to 30 dollar Am×××× ones and haven't needed replacement and have already surpassed the original remotes. Kinda crazy if you ask me, $340 for a hand held system, you're lucky to tweet 10 months out of remotes, to just spend another 75 plus tax on replacement if you do nintendo brand. Cheapies work just at good and way more color combos and better quality.

I use my Switch every day during my commute to work on mass transit. Battery life is pretty solid and it's easy to recharge at my office just using a USB-C cable (no need to carry around the AC adapter). The basic controllers are alright when connected to the Switch but feel a bit flimsy on their own. The screen is a fingerprint magnet so you'll want to get a screen protector and probably a carrying case.

This Nintendo is awesome! Very easy to use with multiple options. The control is very well made, durable, but light weight. Expensive but nice, quality product.

I'm so far really enjoying playing on my Nintendo Switch. The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild looks beautiful both on the TV and tablet, where it seamlessly transfers images between the two devices. My only complaint about the Nintendo Switch would be the joycon controllers. When playing a game like Zelda, the joycon controllers are just too small for an average adult's hands, and can cause your hands to start to feel cramped after a couple of hours. I made sure to run right out and purchase a Nintendo pro controller, which is definitely an improvement over the joycons.

Easy setup. Good battery life. Works well! My 14 year old loves it.

Kids love it. Runs fast and is portable. Great battery life. Wish it had more apps, but not necessary since it is a gaming console.

The Nintendo Switch is a very fun and impressive gaming console. It is very versatile and can be played in three different modes. While the best feature of the Switch is that it can be played on a big TV or as a handheld console, I primarily use it in handheld mode. I've always dreamed of playing console games on the go and Nintendo has made that finally possible with this very portable console. It's amazing to see many console games being ported to the Switch. I look forward to future titles being ported to the Nintendo Switch.

You may want to switch off the Switch after a few hours of switching between Mario Kart 8 & Zelda but trust me, you can't never stop never stopping with Nintendo's Switch. At first I couldn't figure out which Switch to pick. Would I wish to ditch the neon for the gray Switch? Some say you should switch from the Switch to the Xbox One or the PS4 but why switch when you can have them all! Overall I'm happy with the Switch. I give it 5 Switches out of 5, also when is this COVID stuff going to be over?

Although this system is difficult to get due to being constantly sold out. I was lucky enough to go into Best Buy and they had a couple in stock about 4 so I grabbed one immediately. All I wanted to buy was just the council not a bundle with a bunch of things that I may or may not want I wanted the chance to be able to pick what I wanted and when I wanted. I bought this system for my children along with the Mario Kart 8 game in the Zelda game. My kids truly enjoy this new game system and they range from ages 7 to 14. It would have been even better if Mario Odyssey was out and other games to have a greater variety to play. I am truly grateful to have been able to get it before season comes and it'll be even harder to find or they will be at a much higher price. I do enjoy watching my children play and when I want to watch TV or if they're playing another game Council they can just play the switch on the hand held part of it. I did buy a screen protector for it so when putting it back into the dock it wouldn't scratch it and I also purchased the 2-year Geek Squad plan being that it is new technology I wanted to insure if anything went wrong with it I could exchange it for another or get store credit and use it towards the purchase of it if they were sold out and I had to wait until they got more in stock. Overall I give this system in a plus. The battery life is pretty long for both the control sticks as well as that handheld tablet.

Let me just first say that this is my first Nintendo console that I have ever owned. That being said, I am very happy and satisfied with this purchase. The flexibility of the Nintendo Switch was the drawing factor plus Nintendo produces a lot of fun and amazing games (i.e. Zelda, Super Mario Bros, etc). I like the flexibility of being able to travel with the tablet and play at the comfort of your home. I must say it's a great investment for your home and personal video game entertainment! Get it!

It is difficult to review game consoles when they are still within their first month of being launched. The new hardware is exciting but you are still getting launch window games while the OS (and games) are being actively tweaked and updated. So far I have played three games on my Switch: Zelda, World of Goo, and Snipperclips. I am really anticipating Mario Kart, Arms, Super Street Fighter II, and Sonic Mania (for the launch window games). The good news is that I have continued to play the three games I purchased and I have had two of them on the console's launch day. So the games have been able to hold and keep my attention and should last me until at least Mario Kart comes out later this month. I'll break things down a little bit and first talk about the hardware. Overall, the Switch hardware is solid. You get a satisfying feeling clicking on the Joy-Con controllers to the console itself as well as the controller-styled holder. Although everything is plastic, it feels sturdy. I have no doubts that the console itself will last for years before showing signs of wear and tear (unless you truly abuse it). The 720p screen is actually pretty low resolution by today's standards but it easily gets the job done. Text is easy to read, colors look nice, and navigating the menu isn't difficult or cumbersome. Nintendo has finally added a capacitive screen and that makes touch navigating (and game play) a lot easier compared to the DS line of consoles (including the New 3DS). The Switch seamlessly transfers from portable console to home console by placing it in the included dock. I do wish that there was a click when the Switch was inserted like there are with the Joy-Con. Instead you're pretty much lining the Switch up and placing it on top of a USB-C port hoping it will go in. I haven't had difficulty with this but it would have been nice for there to be a railing and click system that the Switch could be inserted to that would guide it to the USB-C port. Wireless connectivity is solid and I'm able to download content quickly over my 802.11ac network. It's a welcome change to see Nintendo embrace newer Wi-Fi tech instead of sticking with something older (the Wii U supported only 2.4GHz 802.11n). The wireless range of the Joy-Con are solid, I have two pairs of Joy-Con synced with my console and have not had any connectivity issues (including both left Joy-Cons). I can easily access my Switch in the living room from the kitchen. Load times for downloaded simple games are minimal as are more complex games on cartridges. I upgraded my Switch's storage to a 64GB microSDXC card and simple, downloaded games are fine. I haven't tried anything complex from the SD card though. I do wish that the Switch came with more than 32GB of storage. That really seems lackluster in this day and age especially when eMMC storage is so inexpensive. Nintendo could have easily loaded it up with 128GB. I also wish that the battery life was better. I am only getting a couple of hours (~2.5) playing Zelda but I'm getting about 4 with Snipperclips and a bit longer with World of Goo. Those numbers are OK but it would have been nice getting 5 hours out of Zelda and 8-9 out of the other titles. I would have gladly opted for a thicker, heavier console to get more battery life. Unfortunately, as of now, there aren't any power bricks that charge the Switch fast enough to let you play and charge at the same time. The current power bricks will charge the Switch but the battery still drains faster than the charge rate. The OS GUI needs some work as well. It's fine for basic functionality but Nintendo should really open it up more. Media apps would have been nice to have as well. Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Video, HBO Go, Showtime, Epix, etc. would all be welcome on the Switch. The watching experience would be better than my smartphone and it would mean I could get rid of the stupid media device that's hooked up to my HDTV. Nintendo has said that media apps are coming but, in this day and age, it seems downright sinful to launch any type of media device (a streamer, Blu-ray player, gaming console, HDTV, etc.) without at least Netflix. Overall though, the Switch is a solid home and portable console. Like any system still in it's launch window, it could use some additional work. The OS GUI is dated, we need more games, and media apps are a must. But the hardware itself is solid. The dock feels a little cheap but the rest of the console, including the Joy-Con, are solid. The kickstand holds the console up just fine (don't believe Cnet's click-bait video), the Joy-Con have a satisfying click when inserting them, and they work well when attached to the Switch for portable gaming. I have zero doubts that Nintendo is working on improving the switch experience. Due to the lack of games, I don't recommend this console just yet for the average gamer. I highly recommend this for hardcore gamers and Nintendo fans but right now, I don't think that the downloadable games and Zelda are enough to hold the average gamer over. Mario Kart is definitely going to help. Casual gamers should give this console another month or two one Mario Kart, Splatoon, and Arms are released.

Long battery life, and very easy to use, whether handheld or docked. This has been a great addition to our entertainment section.

I love love love my new switch! I had a DS lite growing up and have been wanting something like that that I could play casually. It's perfect for that but there are also games for more serious game players. Best buy was excellent in getting this to me as well (I got it during the pandemic when it was sold out elsewhere). I specifically really live tablet mode, I didnt think I would use that feature often but I find myself using it regularly. DEFINITELY glad I held out for this instead of getting a lite.

Great console that is very versatile. Graphics of the games is good! Good deals on games! Also very handy and great battery life
