Nintendo gambled big on this hybrid hand-held/console. When it released, it really only had one game: Zelda, Breath of the Wild. But this one game is praised by many critics as "the best game of all time". Since it's release, there have been dozens of titles released for the Switch and it's popularity is attracting third party developers that would have never developed for the Wii U. Although it has some issues in somewhat backwards technical design (such as no Bluetooth, no USB 3.0 support, and the horrible phone app voice chat "solution"), it still promises to be a very successful portable console.

I got this as a Christmas present last year and I enjoyed it so much that I had to get one for my nephew.

Purchased as a gift, and the young person continues to enjoy it. An excellent hand held and console gaming system.

i had previously purchased a nintendo ds for my 4 yr old but he did not care for it. so i took it back and decided to get the switch for him and he loves it!!

This console is incredible fun to play. It is a little difficult to understand how to use at first but once you’re used to it, it’s great.

It is a unique idea that is great for the casual gamer. It lacks the power of its counterparts, but the first party selection is hard to beat.

The Switch is awesome. I was a little skeptical at first since it’s a lower powered system and that it might feel to much like a tablet. The games I’ve played are gorgeous and the artistic visuals mask the lower power in a great way. The attachable joycons are comfortable and it’s a breeze to play on the small and big screen. Kids love it and it’s much more kid friendly than my PS4. Best part; I can play at the same time the wife is watching TV in the same room. Only real con is the memory size if you’re planning on downloading games, but that’s an easy fix by purchasing any memory card.

Best money spend for you kids can play on the go and has a great battery life, excellent for long family trip to keep.you.kids entertain

I usually play PC games, but Nintendo just change me to a console gamer. Many games are coming out for Nintendo and just so easy to play like Mario Kart!

Great gaming system for the whole family. Everyone can play and there is enough variety in games to please everyone.

I bought this for my son 12th birthday. He enjoys being able to travel with the game and having the option to play on the television. He enjoys the graphic and games.

I love my switch. No complaints! No issues. I've seen some people posting their own issues but I take care of my equipment and play moderately and it performs perfectly.

I didnt realize how much the protable part of this console would be used. I always grab the switch and bring it downstairs to play while watching tv with my wife.
