You should buy this

I love it in both docked and handheld mode. While the Joy-cons are a lot of fun, if you plan on using the Switch docked at all, I HIGHLY recommend getting a Pro Controller, which are really well designed and offer much more precision. The Switch is awesome, the games are awesome... it comes down to this: if you like Nintendo games, or playing the huge amount of Indie games that they Switch now offers, then buying one will make you very, very happy.
