Feeling disappointed and cheated

Worked great until this week and the joy cons just slide off without pressing the release button. I took the switch back to Best Buy and was told that the latches on the screen are bad. There was nothing they could do because it was 3 days past the return/exchange date. When you buy something that is so pricey, you expect it to work properly, I am not happy that now I’m stuck with a broken switch. I was lied to and cheated, I expected more out of Best Buy.
