Yes, that statement does sound biased. But if you like games like Mario Kart and other "nintendo-only games" this is the best choice. The only thing I would have to say is wrong with it is how the price is so high, 250 seems more reasonable, and 300 with a game.

I am very pleased with this product. My kids enjoy the system and it's user friendly. I would, however, recommend the digital downloads over the actual games since they are so tiny and easy to lose. I've had the system for a month now and do not have any complaints!

This is the second device that I purchased from Best Buy for my son and the first one was for my daughter they are loved it and they have a lot of fun I’m glad that my kids have Nintendo switch and keep them busy while they are in school break.

My son loves it and so do i! Though the controllers seem to wear out quickly. Like the joysticks start getting messed up and getting stuck.

The switch isn’t AS versatile as Xbox or PS, but this is a life saver for trips. I have two wishes though: no Netflix app and the YouTube app doesn’t have great parental controls. It’s either toddler or full version. My 8 year old is a little beyond the little kid stuff but I don’t want to give him access to everything either. I do like the parent app that Nintendo has built though. Gives you control without having the switch in your hand. The parent app is also useful for monitoring screen time.

Fun system, great Nintendo 1st party titles which make the system with purchasing.

I just love the concept Nintendo decided to go with on this one. You can play it at home on your TV and take it with you on the road. Gotta say graphics are good the controls are amazing. And one piece of advice I'll give is to buy a tempered glass screen protector.

The Nintendo Switch is probably my favorite current gen console. I do wish there was a greater variety of games, but that's not an error in the console- the controls feel great, the screen is great, and it looks great on a larger tv. Incredibly clever and innovative design.

I’ve been playing nonstop on this console, thinks its good for short term use but addicting for long term use. Thumbs up.

Quite happy with the design. Has a good setup that allows a diversity of cool games. Enjoy that it is like a game boy and can take with. Happy with graphic and the controllers. Controller abilities add way more to games like Mario and Zelda. Highly recommend.

Great for portable gaming, I was on a bus ride for 14 hours and this thing saved my life from boredom.

My little cousin seems to like how easy it is to use. He played Lets Go Pikachu but got bored of it before the Elite Four. Lol.

I got this for my wife as a birthday gift and she was over the moon! This is a perfect console for kids or even if you’re trying to escape and play some awesome games it is great! I would recommend it even to those who own a PS4 or Xbox like me.

This is my second switch I bought for my brothers rooms. They both are amazing consoles and perfect especially if you have a large family or friends over a lot it’s great to couch play some Mario kart with the guys

no complaints except the joycons have the worst time working. they basically don't work half the time. its awful

I bought this Switch as a gift for a friend in anticipation for Animal Crossing. I was over a year early, and a better system revision came out in the meantime, but she got into Zelda BOTW in the meantime and still plays it a lot.

the nintendo switch is well designed. we on have 2 games for it, but the logic and use of it flows very well. I can't wait for more games to fully see this console in action with all of its capabilities. I love that Nintendo focuses on games for kids in the under age group.

Pros: Unlike some of the complaints, I find the build quality of the game unit and joycons to be quite good. The feel of the buttons is great. The screen is quite nice and scratch resistant (assuming you're not throwing it around or dropping it a lot). Game support is starting to grow, some really nice titles out there now. Cons: the dock is kinda cheap. Internal storage is low at 32GB, best advice is to add an SD card. Battery life is short, could use improvement there. If you're going to travel with it, invest in a case.

Fun system, fair price. Wish they had used safer materials to make it, not ones known to cause cancer though!

I have been an avid PS4 player for the past 3 years, until I bought the switch. I LOVE this console, if you can call it that. The games are amazing and the graphics are impressive. The online has a ton to offer. I highly recommend the Nintendo switch.
