    The Switch is a good gaming system. Though there is a severe lack of games, Breath of the Wild makes up for it as an excellent game that is very long and engrossing. Also, to be noted was doing a pre-order through Best Buy was a great experience. Very smooth!!

    Got this console for Christmas 2019, so it is 6 months old and the red controller's battery is pretty much shot. Can't play more than an hour and the controller randomly drops off. Imagine ... you sit down with family for a fun filled night of Mario Kart and the main controller dies in the middle of the race. Fun over, frustration begin. My guess is the battery was a used/refurbished one sold as new by Nintendo. Before dumping a bunch of money into the console and the ridiculously expensive priced-fixed games, buy the console and use it for awhile before you determine if the frustration level is worth it.
