It would be good for older kids however, it may be extremely breakable to younger children who are prone to drop consoles. However, it's good for a short time only, not a long lasting item.

Kept it in very well condition. Personally I think it’s bull s h i t that they sell a 300 dollar paperweight. Don’t know if the battery fried. If there was a flaw they shouldn’t have sold it to me. There’s probably 15 hours of play time maximum on my switch and i picked it up one evening and it would not turn on so I left it on the charger over night. Still black screen of death. Tried many different ways to reset it. Nothing. No sounds. No display. Nothing. I don’t ever write reviews but if your gonna buy this for your kids or something just buy a PlayStation or a gaming computer.

Be sure you’re actually going to use it since there really aren’t a lot of great titles out there for it and there isn’t the online social aspect

When charging the device it continuously getsan orange screen. For me turning it off completely after its been charing to get rid of the orange screen is not a fix for me.However because of best buy return policy I can't return or swap it out.
