I brought this item as a Christmas gift. when we opened it there was a line a cross the screen like a box cutter hit it. super disappointing.

Overpriced product with cheap material. If you purchase one I advise you to buy a screen protector asap. Only thing good I can say is the games are amazing.

Item got damage, you can hear the game but not able to see it. Obviously I will need to contact Nintendo

The switch I purchased for my grandson for Christmas didn’t work so I gave 1 star for the speedy refund. My grandsons mother ended up purchasing the switch at Target and it worked just fine. My grandson was the only one on Christmas that didn’t have a gift because I only give one gift per child and the one Best Buy item was subpar.

I got one of these a couple of years ago and it has been very enjoyable. It has a very strong selection of games, and it's a very flexible console I can take anywhere. Unlike Nintendo's previous console, it feels well-made. I'm sure you've heard the news of people experiencing 'joy-con drift' In short, the console receives 'drifting' input from the one or both analog sticks. Which makes characters and cameras move in frustrating ways. Being an issue that seems to arrive over time with usage, I recommend buying one of Nintendo's Pro Controllers. Simply use that whenever you're playing on a TV and your Joy-Cons will function normally for longer as mine have. Even then, Nintendo very kindly offers repairs free of charge. Overall, It's a very fun system that you can play at any time, anywhere. I would recommend it to anyone looking to play video games.

The joy cons stop working a month after purchase. I would buy a different handheld unit.

Too difficult for the beginner. Needs lots of instruction. Didn't come with any real spicifics to help. Have to just play along and keep messing up to learn how it works.

Online games a little expensive compared to android games, had to format the switch, and the purchased games (2) were not recognized when I logged back in, not happy

Good for kids, maybe. Weak grafix, Games are rushed and poorly made. No Bluetooth on a portable gaming system. How do you miss that Nintendo? Just a poor gaming system

Got it for my son however more hype than substance. Forget 4k, it's not even 1080 HD. There's nothing new about this other than the screen interface not unlike wii u.

Broke in the first 3 months, but at least they took it back to fix or replace--hopefully. Was fine until it broke.

Not even a year later the joycons don’t connect to system and it’s not the actual joy cons it’s the system

This console has very limited games, most of them are just for kids, the only one that seemed to be relevant was a dud (Zelda). Battery life is too low.

I didn't grow up playing video games, and really don't know much about them. My then 7 year old (now almost 10) wanted a switch, and I was concerned that I wouldn't be able to explain to him how to use it. He figured it out, and is now a pro. We've had this for almost 3 years now, and so far, it's being great. Of course, my son keeps wanting new games for his switch, and those add up pretty quickly in price. Overall, a good console for someone getting a video game for the first time. I highly recommend it.

This device is fun, but definitely not worth how much I paid. I kind of wish I didn’t purchase this item.
