Spend your money on a different console. This console needs to have better games.

Screen has 2inch scratch and left controller doesn’t work half the time

Great idea. But this is the second one I’ve purchased and the controllers stop working correctly after a few months. Read up online about controller drift problems before purchasing. It’s very frustrating that this is a known problem for years yet they keep selling them.

I am sure it is a great system but the games 3D affected my vertigo.

Not enough free games. It's fine if you are only playing fortnite

I purchased the Nintendo Switch on a whim. I missed pre orders, and assumed it would sell out before I'd be able to get it. Release day, I happened to be at Target and asked about the sustem at 9:15AM. They had JUST sold out of the system. I decided since Best Buy was just a few stores away, to try there. There was a small line, and a Best Buy team member that was giving out placement slips for those in line to get the Nintendo Switch. I was able to purchase the system within fifteen minutes of entering the store. The staff was professional and friendly and very prepared for the release of this system. Now, onto the system itself... FANTASTIC! I love it! It was easy to connect! It easily switches from TV mode to handheld mode. And it was quite nice being able to lay in bed (sick over the weekend) and play the new Zelda Breath of the Wild game! The layout of the menu is simple and easy to navigate. I am eager for the online store to go live to see what is available. There wasn't many games released with the system. The only one that really was worth while for myself, was the Zelda Breath of the Wild game. And I'll be honest... I've NEVER played Zelda before. But I LOVE this game! I am very eager to expand on my Nintendo Switch game collection!

My daughter got very bored with this game system after a week.

Not enough features or games compatible with this device. Returned.

We applied the protective screen on the Switch and used the tool to removes the bubbles. The plastics tool made scratches on the screen protector. Only after a few days, the plastic protector started bubbling and started coming off the Switch. Definitely find an alternative screen protector.

So I was just like you...on the hunt. I'm working from home, kids with me all summer, what's a girl to do? I considered buying one of the babies from a price gouger...but as stubborn as I am...decided to try a different method. It paid off! I scored a new v2 Switch! Kids are happy and my sanity is intact along with my finances. Do yourself a favor....check out brickseek . com Check Wal-M and Target... i got lucky at the former. Its a free brick & mortar inventory checker....enter a sku, or DCPI....it'll tell you where inventory is. It took me about 2 weeks...but it worked. Good luck to you!

was very unhappy. i tried to returned entire console. i was talked into getting the protection plan. dont get it it is not worth the money if it is free to change with nintendo directly or just get your money back,

Eh, it was fun to checkout but all the games i picked up all felt the same. Run jump, run jump, run jump. Decided to return it so i could get more beer and play games on my PC.

you can skip to the end if you want... I have 2 xbox ones( one is a S), ps4, wiiU, custom built super pc, vita, 3ds, and every system before... so im not "new" to gaming. Nintendo switch to me is a love letter to gamers of all skills and walks of life, and it is incredible! there's something so MAGICAL when you set it in its docks and the game instantly transfer to the tv with no hook-up, and it pull it off the dock and it switches back to the gamepad screen... its incredible! despite what people say the graphics are amazing too! i be walking around best buy, Walmart, the mall and show it off to people and every time they are impressed with games like Zelda breath of the wild, it really shows off this system! and dont forget its so fast! the controllers are actually great also! they feel comfortable. and if you want more control, GET THE SWITCH PRO CONTROLLER IT IS LITERALLY WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!!!! pros: -play anywhere any time, for $300 you get a home console, tablet, and handheld in one, and over $200 in accessories! -fast -great graphics, games like skylanders look the same on ps4 and xbox one! -5, yes FIVE different styles to play the game, one joycon, two joycon, joycon grip, handheld, and pro controller(sold separately) -ZELDA -8 player bomberman! -great battery life! -USB type C on console and pro controller -MOST POWERFUL HANDHELD YOU'LL BUY -you'll end up playing more in handheld mode -i wear hoodies, switch go in one pocket, phone in the other, and a joycon in each pocket of my hoodie- GAME ANYWHERE! -great library coming CONS! -not 4k, yes but honestly you wont care at all when you play games like zelda, it looks too good. -not as powerful as ps4 pro and xbox one S, AGAIN you wont care- seriously the games that are on it and coming are playing so far just fine. - no streaming videos like netflix or apps or so on, BUT im sure thats all coming- after all at launch the wii, wiiu, and 3ds didn't have it and now they do - not backward compatible, yet... im sure virtual console is coming. - at launch, small library of worthy games IN SUMMERY- the switch offers you something no one else can, a home console experience on the go and able to share with friends, and its appealing to all ages. Even with its short comings it excels so hard in so many areas that this is literally a must have, sure its got a rough road ahead and missing some features- but all should be taken care of soon with more games and patches. Nintendo hit it out of the park and every switch owner will tell you it was worth the buy. 10 out of 10

Literally broke down in 3 days from charging port and onces i took it to get fix apparently the protection plan is for one used only which is ridiculous for game system that cost that price.

I have had to replace the remote for this switch it hasnt even been a year. I bought a t.v. not a year old from best buy doesnt work now. This company product s dont seem to last past 1yr. Just a waste to have to keep replacing products.
