Great console. Gameplay for games is amazing. Great for family gatherings

I have never been more excited for a new piece of hardware for video games in my entire life! I have been around since the NES and I remember every console release from NES to the PS4 and this hybrid console has by far gotten me the most excited for a different gaming experience then anything before!

As always Best Buy has fast availability compared to other stores.

I've owned the NES, SNES, Wii. I skipped the cube and the Wii-U. This is the best Nintendo home console. I've owned the X-Box, 360, PS1 & 2, and the Dreamcast. This beats all of these. If I'm honest it ties the Dreamcast, that was awesome for its time. Where it becomes the best console is because its also a handheld. I've owned Game-boy, game-boy advanced, DS, PSP, and Vita. This blows these all out of the water.

Currently, the Nintendo Switch has very few games on it. Regardless, the prized possession this console has over any other console is Nintendo's magnificent exclusives. Such as The Legend of Zelda, Mario, Splatoon, and Star Fox just to name a few. Blended in with this system you get an experience that you can bring with you on the bus, to work, and at home. The controller feels terrific, and the speed of the operating system is surprisingly fast for how small it is. It has expandable memory via micro SD card to get the most out of digitally downloading games. The greatest game by far is the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, you will not be disappointed. Overall: Nintendo has made something great, and wants to share it with the people. Help them help you by purchasing this magnificent work of art. P.S. Yes, I am aware that the PS4 and Xbox One are more powerful, I own an Xbox myself. This does not stop the Nintendo Switch from being a remarkable step for Nintendo.

Love it. Not using it as a handheld devise. Only with the tv.

I look at it as a portable console that can be used at home. I haven't plugged it into my TV yet, I plan to after getting a screen protector, I'm paranoid and that was my plan even before hearing about the docking scratches issue, so I'm dinging it points for that. I've been playing Breath of the Wild nearly non-stop. I love the portability, and think that this should be the direction consoles move towards in the future.

The Nintendo Switch is easily my favorite console for gaming. Love the portability. I find myself gaming away from the tv most of the time which is so convenient. The graphics are fine. Love the many coop games available. Easy to use menus. Love the Mario games on Nintendo. Would recommend to have if you play games

It's been out of stocker long haven't been able to get one at all. People are using bots to get them whenever come into stock. And then reselling them on eBay and amazon for 3x more the price, it really sucks so much I just wanna play animal crossing :(

I've always wanted a console to be just like this. I can enjoy at home & then play the same game on a smaller screen while on -- business trips, vacation & even the bathroom -- anywhere I'm relaxing. This console is clearly made for people who love games. It's innovative & well executed. Easy, smooth transition from home to mobile device and vice-versa. Joy-con controllers are good for on-the-go, but a little small for home use. Worth spending extra on the Pro controller (though thumbs down on heavy price tag on that accessory & others). Game cartridges are the size of an SD card & best of all, the software loads right away -- like the good old days. No waiting for hours while game is installing. Great job by Nintendo, hopefully they'll sell enough hybrid consoles so it becomes even better with good third party support. It's a gamer's paradise out there these days with the PS4, Xbox One and now the Switch. They're all good. Enjoy.

Great and amazing system love it alot nothing better

it's comfortable to hold in my hands and I'm excited for the new games it will be getting. I was amazed when I put the zelda cartridge in and it was ready to play- I actually didn't do anything for almost a minute because I was waiting for some sort of pop up for an installation or update file or something that I'm so used to on my other consoles to interfere with my enjoyment of starting the game. The console doesn't heat up much unless you block the air intake vents and the fan is practically inaudible. The screen is very nice and the touch feature is also very responsive So far I've taken it with me while waiting for a car wash and maintenance, and a few random excursions to show my friends and corkers. I'll probably take it to the airport with me on an upcoming trip. I do think it's a little bare bones as a tablet because there aren't any media streaming apps or a web browser for me to use if I'm not in a gaming mood and I also wish the dock had some felt pads or something in the main slot so that you don't accidentally scratch the screen or back of the console. I haven't had the desire to try the grip that was included because even though the joycons are tiny they don't feel bad in my hands and I like that I can independently place my hands wherever they'd be most comfortable. They are awful to use sideways though. the L and R buttons are impossible to reach comfortably and after an hour my hands are exhausted. An 8 year old may not have this problem but as an adult I can't deal with it

Love it!!! I've had it for awhile it holds up good. But the dock does get alittle loose.
