Very entertaining console! Great for families due to the 2 joycons! Although if you want to download your game onto the switch, you will probably want to buy an sd card. A 32gb card will probably suffice, but buying a cheap 128gb would be a good option. Anyway, definitely recommend this item!

Advanced portable gaming tablet that you can play on your TV. It's like a huge upgrade to the Wii U. Very sleek, feels good in hands, amazing graphics for a portable albeit for the TV portion we haven't had developers utilize the docked setting to their utmost advantage yet. Immersion is never broken as you can play anywhere, this is perfect for open-world games and RPG's. It will change how you play, you don't feel limited to the time you have on your TV so you explore much more in a game, same feeling comes back that we had when we were kids, don't feel limited to time. Can buy a separate dock and switch from TV to TV anytime. Can bring to friend's house with ease. Can play a single-player game with two people just for fun, one person can use the left side of the controller and another can use the right. Breaking the controller in two allows you to veg out on the couch after a long day, no cramping in upper-body area. Perfect for families too with being able break the controller into two and with games like Snipperclips, 1-2 Switch, Arms, Mario Kart 8, and Splatoon 2 on the way. One issue is that I think you absolutely need the Pro Controller to get the full home console experience out of this especially for single-player games.

Even though I don't have the console it is great it's fun to play on and it's being portable feature brings it 1 step up, my friend was lucky to get one and I've played breath of the wild and it's amazing small or big screen I recommend this console to anyone that wants fun with friends and family or to someone who wants to entertain themselves :)

This is the newest version of the Nintendo Switch. It features a much longer battery life than the original and updated processor. I bought this and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe separately because the 2019 Black Friday bundle will include the older non-updated Switch and a download code for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

I've had this console for about 4 years and still going strong. The controllers have started to drift and needed to be sent off to be repaired.

I waited in line, like a nerd, for many hours to be able to get my hands on this console at launch....Boy, was it worth it! The whole experience between transitioning between TV Mode and a portable console is seamless, sacrificing only resolution and perhaps, whatever accessories you're unwilling to carry with you on the go.

This is a great gaming system not only for one person but for a whole family to enjoy!

With the Switch it almost feels like Nintendo was trying to do too much at once and ended up not doing anything very well. The idea is very creative don't get me wrong but it isn't even a new idea. You have been able to link your phone to your TV or a tablet or other portable game devices for years now. And Sony, with the PS4, has been doing console remote play with a tablet or better a laptop. As a handheld it is very nice. And make no mistake that is what this is - a well marketed handheld and future successor to the 3DS. But had they focused on making a handheld they might have been able to give it better controls and a better battery life. The controls are unnatural to use, especially on the right side. With the analog stick directly below the buttons. Look at the staggered design of an XB1 controller - it was done that way for a reason. Plus the lack of a D pad. I have not used it in tabletop mode and honestly I don't plan to. The placement of the charge port underneath means you cannot plug it in while.playing that way and the battery life is short enough as it is. Don't get me wrong - it is a nice handheld. It just feels half-assed. They could have done better. As for the home "Console" mode which I loathe to call it that. I have not even tried. Firstly because the dock does scratch the screen and I rather not risk it. I hear there are frame drops and it is extremely underpowered compared to the PS4 and XB1. I wish people would stop going on about this being real competition for the XB1 and PS4 and will it beat their sales etc etc etc. Oh and how comparable the game library is going to be. Really? Let me be clear - this thing will NEVER run the majority of games on PS4 or XB1. You will not see Final Fantasy XV or Titanfall 2 or Destiny 2. It isn't just about graphics but processing and the Switch cannot handle most games on those consoles. FIFA 18 is going to be a PS3 or XB360 port. Their version of Skyrim is previous generation [and available for $20] This is a lousy home console. I cannot recommend it. Not with PS4 and XB1 such better deals. Bigger game libraries. Better processing. The same games out and cheaper and better. Cheaper but also better quality accessories. No. It's not worth it.

I will be short on this one! Get one of those for you!! I spent a couple of hours standing in line at the midnight launch and I would do it again everyday if I had to. Endless fun for single or multiplayer!

Very happy with Best Buy and the purchase. I was looking for Nintendo Switch for over a month before Christmas. Walmart charged $100 more, same with Amazon and Ebay. Best Buy delivered best price! My son loves the console.

I have had high hopes for the Switch since that very first trailer. Before I got the Switch I thought it would be cool, turns out that it is AWESOME!! Joy cons are a little awkward at first but you adjust to using them. The grip feels good in the hands, using as a handheld feels good as well. Disconnecting the joy cons from the Switch, the grip, and the bumpers is pretty easy and has a satisfying "click". Definitely pick up a screen protector as soon as you can. Reports online have shown scratches on the screen from docking and undocking. If you are going without a screen protector then just be careful when docking and undocking. Menus are very easy to use, not to cluttered, although I would say it's a little to simple. Games load up very fast. If you are contemplating picking one up, stop contemplating, just do it. You will not regret your decision.

Best Nintendo Consle to ever exist!! It is like a better version of the wii!

It doesn't matter what the specs are on the other consoles if you aren't home to play them. The switch allows great gameplay on the go. The system seems sturdy and of high quality. The screen looks wonderful during most lighting sistuations. If you love the Nintendo franchises you won't go wrong with the switch

This thing is amazing. I will be enjoying it OUTDOORS during the warm weather season! :)

Bought it for my son, his brother got the PS5 and he is doing good in school so he deserves his own system since his older brother is stingy with the PS5.

We bought this for our family for Christmas and it has, so far, been tons of fun! I love that by subscribing to Nintendo online, you can get access to the OG Super Mario Bros. So much fun for the whole family!

There are many reviews on the Switch so I'll keep this short by saying that the ability to play games on the big screen as well as a handhold is amazing. Being able to play future Fire Emblem, SMT, and possibly Pokemon games on the big screen as well as handhold is something I've always dreamed of.

Been wanting one forever, love it and with all the NES, SNES, and N64 games I’m getting to play all the ones I used to as a kid with my daughter . But had to get a 65” Vizio for it because…reasons.

It really is a revolutionary product. I enjoy the build quality mostly, the speed at which the games load up, the only reason I gave 4 out of 5 is the little kickstand on the back of the handheld switch is pretty flimsy and feels like it could easily break if more then a little pressure is placed on it. I am enjoying Zelda on it. it is a very very long game. the launch lineup for me is pretty weak. Zelda of coarse the exception. But ive enjoyed taking the game with me wherever I want. car, plane travel. it's a lot of fun. looking forward to Mario kart and Mario in the fall.

This console is great. It might not be powerfull or have the graffics but what it does have it the multiplayer fun. I love Nintendo games for that. This console is the first Nintendo console that I have purchased since the Game cube. I am so happy that I did.
