Nintendo didn't again. They offer a gaming console that's fun for the whole family. Good clean titles are available, this makes it the clear choice for a family with kids.

It's a great system that you can take with you. The only problem is the left joy con, it has a bit of a glitch, but nothing big.

...for the most part. The system quality is excellent. The ease by which game modes and controllers are swapped out is intuitive and seamless. The system and screen look and feel great. The size of the system is disarming...you won't believe how small the tablet (system) really is! A reaction that immediately fades when you begin playing and you realize it's a perfect form-factor. The dock is a miss. It's clunky, feels a little cheap, and threatens to scratch your switch screen with repeated use. INVEST IN A GLASS SCREEN PROTECTOR. The charging port is USB-C, which is great, but it should have been on the top so it could be charged while in kick-stand mode. The kickstand also feels very cheap. I'm looking forward to Nyko's metal stand alternative. Overall, a solid system with a LOT of potential. Breath of the Wild: STUNNING. If you get a Switch, you MUST MUST MUST get Zelda. Splatoon: Excellent. A great team-based "shooter" with a surprisingly robust single-player mode. Mario Kart 8: Great on the Wii U, even better here.

Highly recommend this guy if you are a nintendo fan! Instantly plug in to your dock for a tv experience, and take it out with ease for a portable handheld. By far the best thing I've had.

Got it for Christmas for the kids. They showed me that I can download apps for the original Nintendo and super Nintendo with several games. I have enjoyed the flashback to childhood.

We enjoy the Nintendo switch. It gives you the choice to play in the console connect to the T.V or play in handheld mode in any location either is any where in the house or outside.

This item is well worth the money and I would buy it again.

This has been an amazing purchase! The only real down side is the cost of the games. But nintendo has seriously upped their game since i used to play the game cube!

I grew up playing the SNES and N64. Now that I'm an adult with a job and kids, I don't have time to play the long, involved, modern games you find on PS4 or Xbox. The Switch is perfect. I can play my games anywhere without having to sit in front of the TV. I can play for short periods, put it to sleep, and pick up right where I left off (even days later). Nintendo's best properties, like Mario and Zelda, are back and better than ever. It's nice to game again (and with my kids too!).

Full disclosure: I've been a Nintendo Fanboy all of my life. When the Switch was announced, I knew I wanted one. I was lucky enough to snag one through Best Buy. It is truly my favorite console right now. It provides such a clean and crisp on the go presentation, but still has enough power to be a home console. This is not a jack of all trades, master of none. Nintendo worked hard to make a console that's enjoyable both at home, and on the go, whether you play by yourself or with other people.

Bought this for my 5 and 7 year old grand sons. They love it.
