Finally got our hands on a switch. And let me tell you, it’s been non stop action fun at our house since. Don’t hesitate, go ahead and buy it. You won’t regret it.

After being a lifelong fan of Nintendo since the NES, I lost interest with the Wii U. I did not want to use a tablet and I thought the device was drastically underpowered as a home console. When the Switch was announced, I immediately wrote it off for several reasons. Within a few months after the Switch launched, I saw my friend playing Zelda Breath of the Wild on the big screen. I told myself I'd watch for five minutes before heading out to run errands. An hour later, and after my friend completed one of the dungeons, I finally walked out the door to run my errands but not before Zelda and the Switch had won me over. For the next few weeks I searched high and low for a Nintendo Switch and had no luck until I caught wind of Best Buy getting a restock soon. I stood in line at Best Buy and was one of the lucky few to get the console and I have thoroughly enjoyed every single minute I have spent with the device. I've used it on airplanes. I've played it on car trips. I've played it on my lunch breaks at work. When I get home at night, I simply put the Switch on the dock and continue from right where I left off. If you're on the fence about getting one, go for it. The device is amazingly convenient and it has two phenomenal games to play in Zelda Breath of the Wild and Mario Kart 8. Nintendo still has what other companies often fail to deliver and that is sheer fun.

What sets this home console apart from others is how portable it is and how easily accessible local multiplayer can be.

It took me so many weeks to finally find stock in the Nintendo switch. but it's totaly worth it. I just love this console.parents you will not regret this purchase.

So I bought this and then a few months later they said they were coming out with the new switch. This one is way better. It’s fun being able to use it as a console or portable game. I like that you can use the switch as a mini TV and have the controllers separate too. Great little device. Geared more for younger kids based off the game offerings but all the grownups live to play Mario kart and MARIO party too

Both of my elementary aged children enjoy the new switch. We upgraded from a Nintendo Wii U and wasn’t sure we would appreciate the upgrade. After a few days it was more than obvious how much better this system has become. Games are all great and a very family oriented system, but the portability and size is a huge bonus. This system has been a lifesaver on long road trips and easy to get all the kids involved.

On a whim, I thought it would be worth trying out the Switch, on the premise that it can be taken anywhere. I came to realize this is quite possibly the greatest idea Nintendo has had. Being able to play my games anywhere I want brings a joy I can't quite put into words. It's amazing having a full-fledged console in my hands on a plane, a long car ride, or even just during a lunch break at work. This is the best 300 dollars I have spent in a very, very long time.

My daughter is so excited!! This is her very first gaming system, and I love that it is portable. She is able to sit in the room with us and play while we watch tv. if we want to play as a family, connect it to the tv and go. And the nintendo membership for all the old games- the best part of the purchase. I can play games from my childhood. :-)

There is a reason this console has broken all kinds of records! It is just so much fun!!!! You can play it docked from your TV or take it anywhere. Either way it just works!!! Also it has a growing catalog of great games so there are games for everyone in the family!!! I recommend picking Mario Oddyssey and Breath of the wild from Best Buy as your first two games. And while you are at it get a good memory card and a pro controller. That is all you will need!

Been wanting one for years now and finally got one! Was definitely worth the wait

Nintendo hit the jackpot here. Great graphics great games starting out. Some features are not ready which is a drawback but as there is a waiting list for this console it will not matter in the future.
