MY KIDS AND GRAND KIDS LOVE IT!. We got them this and some games, and we all just love it spending time together as a family having fun......

It's Nintendo. They usually try new hardware gimmicks and ignore the pixels. Same is true for this round. This time it's the portability of the device and the fact that all the games play the same whether connected to a big screen or playing in your hands on the road. Very small game catalog but it has the typical line up of Zelda, Mario Kart, and other mascots. Multiplayer is still non-existent unless its local on the same screen so don't expect to hook it up and connect with your friends online easily. Nintendo mentions that a phone app will soon be needed to voice chat in games which means they have no clue how in-game social experiences work. Remember it is meant to be portable so the graphics will not be near as good as the existing offerings from Sony or MS. However this system could easily be a DS replacement with the right mind set.

This has been a hit for our family. Great flexibility for on screen play, playing with friends and playing on the switch unit.

I preordered a Switch with the intention of making it my secondary console. And it was while Breath of the Wild was the only major title for it. It’s quickly taken the title of primary console from my Xbox. The only cons at this point seem to be that Nintendo is clueless on voice chat and cloud storage—things you would generally expect in 2017. It makes up for it with portability and classic Nintendo polish.

It is the Nintendo Switch! You know what this is. Great product. If your joycons start drifting, call Nintendo and they'll fix them.

Easy set-up and easy to use with great games. Also great integration with Fortnite.

Just the system. Kids enjoyed. Games can’t always be shared, but that’s an internal issue. Nintendo hooks up to the tv easily.

Great family gaming console. If you have kids and want to play with them, this is a great option that works for all ages, probably 5-college. The downside is it comes with 1 full controller that can be made into 2 separate controllers for some games. Should come with 2 full controllers for the price.

We picked up our Nintendo Switch and Breath of the Wild before we went on vacation. There is something special about sitting on a balcony on vacation, playing Zelda, listening to the ocean, with a glass of wine - that really makes for a great experience. Now keep in mind that the Nintendo Switch is fun gaming platform regardless of the location - but It was extra fun to take on vacation!

I can understand owning a switch if Nintendo makes your favorite games. Fun factor is certainly a top concern, if not the top concern, in gaming. However, the switch has nowhere near the horsepower of the PS4 and Xbox one. Because of this, the switch has nowhere near the 3rd party support of its competitors. Many game developers want to showcase their games on a platform where it will run and look the best. The switch is clearly not that platform. Taking console quality games on the go is a nice gimmick, but Nintendo's competitors are about to redefine "console quality" with the releases of the ps5 and series x. Gamers need to be cognizant of this when Nintendo cannot even currently compete from a technical standpoint.

The game system is so universal and we can use it in so many different places. There are adult games, child games and most they can play together! I gave 4 stars because for as expensive as the controllers are, the connections seem fragile.

This console can support multiple accounts on it for the whole family to enjoy. There are many great family-friendly games that this can play.

While I have to say I was a little hesitant to purchase the Switch I quickly changed my mind after 1 hour of play time. The handheld is light, has great battery life and does not tire after holding it up for hours. The controllers are also easy to attach to their grip or to the handheld. Needless to say I recommend this purchase especially since Nintendo will be releasing games a lot sooner than the other consoles.

Very easy to order and communication for when it was ready was good. Did go in the store to pick up my item, with no problem.

After the failure of the Wii U I was ready to just write Nintendo off completely, but the Switch has restored my faith in the big N. No, you're not getting the same level of visuals and performance that Microsoft and Sony offer, but gaming on the go at the level that the Switch provides is unprecedented, and being able to "switch" from handheld to TV mode and back again just makes it that much better.
