Its a handheld, its a console... its both. This system is super fun and addicting. I love to play bomber man, mario and Zelda BOTW. The form factor is perfect and its not heavy. Battery life could be better but you can get a good few hours in. The systems interface is simple and creative, smooth and fun.

My granddaughter loves this system that was bought for her Christmas present.

The ONLY down side to this system is that it is constantly flying off the shelves. It took me 4 months to finally get one in stock. But soon as it arrived it was fun for the whole family. Highly recommend it to anyone with kids or someone that's a kid at heart.

The Nintendo Switch truly lives up to it's name of being able to switch seamlessly from TV mode to handheld mode. First I must talk about the negatives of this console (1) Battery Life-While the console on sleep mode can last for 6-6.5 hours once you play certain games like the legend of Zelda; the battery tends to lose power after 3.5hrs. (2) Lack of apps on the console such as Hulu and Netflix as of right now means that the console is solely for gaming although once Nintendo finally get these apps this will be one of the best gadgets other than your tablet to watch on the go. (3) The final negative is that compare to the Xbox One and PS4 the Switch is not very powerful in terms of graphics and detailed textures. However in my opinion despite these issues overall the Switch is the innovative tech that Nintendo is best known for and proves that a perfect hybrid of home console/handheld is on the horizon. The ability to turn on the console within seconds compare to the longer wait times on the Xbox One and PS4 is a plus along with simply taking some of your favorite games on the go.

This console beats all the other Nintendo systems. I was a concerned when I was getting ready to purchase this system. We own a Nintendo WiiU. The system had flaws and almost no games. THis was truely a great choice. Game play is so versital. I have played on the tv and the hand held! Amazing!!

I think my grandchildren will enjoy this system and the game I am giving them for Christmas.

Only thing I would say is negative, is having to pay for Nintendo Online to get online access...that sucks.. Otherwise, pretty solid system, games are fun, interface is fine. I also wish the WiiU stylus worked on the screen, cest la vie.

Great system experience bring back old school game play. And oh yea my kids love it too lol

Very easy to use. Console/Joycons are nice looking. My 6-year just received this for his birthday and he is hooked already. Lots of options for games and accessories. I love that he can plan on the TV as well as travelling. Very practical.

We love our switch. Definitely encourage getting a bigger memory card though.
