Bought as a gift for my kids for xmas. They want, i want it....lol....i know it will be a hit.

My special needs son loves this system, very easy for him to use.

This is a nice cross between home consoles and tablets. Play at home or on the go, battery life is decent but depends on the game it can easily get you through your travel that day. If you need an extended travel session an external battery pack with a USB-C cable will get you there.

My wife got my this for Christmas and it’s so much fun! It was perfect for me cause I’m in the Navy and now I have a compact system to bring along and play underway. The sound quality is great and Mario Party is tons of fun. I can’t wait to play more stuff on it!

I love this system! I just need more games to come out - even a Pokemon game would be amazing!

I love the new switch. Now I can play with friends and families.

With so many great games out for the system (Zelda, Shovel Knight, 1-2 Switch, LEGO City Undercover), so happy with this system. The ability to play it on the go, or without the need for a TV makes gaming so much more personal and enjoyable. Looking forward to many years with my Switch.

I've heard a lot about the Nintendo switch lately. I didn't plan on buying one until I bought one for my kid as a birthday present. It definitely surprised me of how easy and fun it is. So I went and bought another. Now my kids and I can have pokemon battles.

I bought this for myself last Christmas and haven’t looked back since. Great graphics, and it’s portable or can be used as a console for your tv. I would highly recommend to anyone debating this product. Plus there’s tons of great games to choose from.

It’s the best portable gaming system I bought in the last couple of years

This console gives you the relative power of a home console but allows you to take it on the go. I have not had any of the issues that others have mentioned of screen scratching, tablet bending or left controller connectivity issue. This is what the WiiU should have been, and even more.

The console and controllers work great, but within a week of purchase the dock broke. Since there are so few Switches in stock, a Best Buy employee told us not to return it since we’d have to wait to get it replaced, and instead we should buy a third party (non-Nintendo) dock station. Seems like a fault in the product if this has happened enough for a third party to come up with a replacement! Not cool. But glad to be able to play again on our tv, so I went ahead and bought the dock from the third party. Now we’re back to playing games which we enjoy, but not crazy about having to pay extra for it.

You should know that this review is coming from someone who loves handhelds. Out of the current modern-day systems, I would have to say the 3DS is my favorite (over PS4, XB1, and even PC). That said, the Switch is really a dream come true. Of course, the big draw is to be able to play both handheld and on a TV, and while this does work seamlessly, I find myself playing in handheld mode 90% of the time. The screen is great. The OS is super smooth. I love that I can detach the joycons. I was worried that the layout of the buttons would cause my hands to cramp (I have issues on the 3DS without a grip), but I've found it to be extremely comfortable, even over extended periods of play (2+ hours). I know the game library is currently limited, but knowing that we're going to see full-fledged Nintendo titles on a handheld hybrid has me very excited for the future of the Switch. If not for Zelda, I would likely have waited for a Switch, but even for only Zelda it is definitely worth it.

I originally had purchased one for my son. My daughter liked it so much she wanted one too so I bought her one as well. Now they all play together and with their friends online. Apparently it's one of those must have toys of the year.

Such and amazing console!!! I love it so much! I've been eying it for so long and I finally got one! It was such a long process but I finally have one and it's so amazing! The only game I have is Breath of the Wild and I've been playing non-stop! I mean I'm broke now but it's worth it!

So easy to set up and my girlfriend loves it! She loved her Wii but now it’s outdated so I decided to surprise her with a switch and she absolutely loves it and she still gets to play her favorite game ( Mario kart)
