It has enough power to run good (sometimes amazing) graphics, feels good in the hand but still feels sturdy, and the UI and e-Store are super fun. My only complaint is the battery life -- you have to recharge often. If you get one for a kid, maybe get them an extra charger or something else, maybe a battery pack for travel.
