I brought the lite because i have been playing handheld Nintendo systems since the first gameboy. Didn't need the regular one because I'll play the my other consoles for more hardcore gaming. But you can still play those games on this system without the sacrifice for graphics like with 3Ds etc. I also like that the controllers are built in, I've played the regular one and its a little awkward to play certain games, with the lite it makes the controller transfer great because its built in. My only complaint is that the battery doesn't last to long. I love the library and its like have all the ps4 and xbox games available for you to play without the sacrifice of graphics and you can play it anywhere.

Great game console! Very pleased with purchase.I was worried about being disappointed with it being smaller than regular switch but that is not the case.

Ordering from here is the best bet. The prices on amazon have sky rocketed, but the price hasn’t changed at all on bestbuy. The switch lite has no issues, it made for a great anniversary gift

Excellent console if you can live without the TV connection. Controls are great and still responsive after months of hard beating by my kids, which initially was a concern of mine. Dropped a couple of times and although no noticeable damage, I strongly recommend a case and screen protector. Tons of fun and worth the money, although I would go for the full Switch version if you are undecided. I only got this as we already have a Switch plugged to our TV 24x7 and this travels easy. Keep in mind that some accessories (like wired controllers) might not work in the Lite. Overall, I am happy with the purchase and quality of the product.

After playing this a few times, and with there being some great games, I really like the Switch Lite. It's a comfortably-sized handheld with responsive buttons and joysticks. It's intuitive, unlike it's predecessor the Wii U. I am not a hard-core gamer, but I have been playing Nintendo systems since the original NES when I was in grade school. I found the Wii U difficult to understand and use in the beginning. Not so with the Switch Lite. I was very uninterested in the Switch when it first came out. Since this console had zero backward-compatibility, and it still cost the usual console price of $300, I preferred to stick with my New Nintendo 3DS, where I have an extensive game library. However, over the years, I've seen some great games come to the Switch, and with the NEW and Super NES games that can be played on it, my interest grew. But not enough for $300. The $200 price point is much easier to swallow, and honestly, I love the size of this unit. It's just big enough, light-weight, and the screen looks great. I do have a few downers on this unit however: - It's not very comfortable to hold for long periods. I found a great protective case for it that adds a grip feature, and that helps, but of course, more investment. - No backwards compatibility with DS/3DS games (yes, I know, hard to accomplish with a single screen). - The games are expensive. VERY expensive. Overall, I am happy to have purchased the Switch Lite. I was much more comfortable with the lower price-point, and I can enjoy a lot of the games I was interested in.

We got this so my daughter and I could play while we travel. She loves mario kart.

Honestly, this thing is pretty great and I was not thinking u would like it as much. It’s a perfect handheld, the screen is huge compared to past handhelds and even phones. The best thing is how slim it is, it fits easily in my backpack’s laptop sleeve for taking it with me. The only negative I have is the same as all handhelds: it is not ergonomic for long stretches of use (which can be good because consecutive hours of playing is not great for our body)

After being stuck playing on the TV Console, and not really being sold on many of the switch games at launch. I gave it a little bit a time for more titles to come out, and the switch lite has been a revelation. A compact design that fits perfectly in most hands, and overall incredible gaming and media consumer experience. If you can spring for the extra hundred dollars for the console version, I would say to do it, however if you can’t spare the extra hundred dollars but want to switch experience. You cannot go wrong with this. The colors of each version are also beautiful, and the feel of the switch makes it so that it’s not too slippery nor too tacky. A true 10 out of 10.

The Nintendo Switch Lite is an excellent game console for those who do not need docking station of the regular Nintendo Switch. The smaller console has a great over all feel, awesome resolution, light weight, and a long battery life. Provides hours of fun for kids to adults. It is compatible with the switch games and many of the accessories. With a Nintendo online account you can play with all Nintendo Switch players.

Part of the experience I owe it to Best Buy. GameStop has been a disappointment so Best Buy for everything now. Feels great in a petite girl’s hands. It has a matte feel to it. Screen is big enough

Great size and very light. My son loves playing on it and watches shows on it as well. Easy to use.
