My daughter loves her switch she plays it alot. Worth it on road trips

I use this product everyday and it makes me so happy! I fly often and it makes flying much more fun!

We purchased this Nintendo Switch Lite for our 10 year old son for his birthday. His older brother has a regular Switch and loves it. We went with the Switch Lite for the younger son as he tends to be pretty hard on his toys. Being that the SL is one solid unit, and doesn't have the detachable Joy-cons, it comes across as being a little more tough. We did also purchase a protective case for it too - just in case. As with our other son, it took a while for this gift to get used more. With kids having access to so many types of tablets and devices nowadays, the SL with its smaller screen isn't always an instant hit. But, the thing is that Nintendo has so many great games and third party software support for this system, that you really can't go wrong. And now, several months later, he is really starting to enjoy his SL.

My 3-year-old and 5-year-old absolutely love this. The battery life is surprisingly very good. I would purchase this for kids over the OLED model every time.

I bought this simply because I really wanted a switch and everything was starting to sell out. I had this for most of the year of 2020 and kinda regret my purchase. It plays the games well- fits comfortably in the hand and the screen resolution is actually really good. However it has some issues : It’s small. Which was to be expected. But smaller than I thought. My eye sight isn’t very good so I don’t recommended the lite for those who have a struggle seeing far away. I held it too close to my face and always got a headache. The battery is not good. I knew the switch batteries weren’t good, but after seeing my brothers regular full size switch , I realized the lite battery is very very bad. It would die after like 30 minutes. Or get very close to dying. So not exactly good for taking on the go like a road trip unless you plan to have a way to charge it or only play for like 10 minutes. Some good points: The lite looks really good. Even in grey, the color is really nice. The buttons all work and don’t feel cheap. I really like the idea that it reminds me of the handheld DS systems. Honestly- the lite is good for smaller children who shouldn’t be playing a gaming system for hours. It’s also probably a lot harder to break than the full switch. It’s also good to have as a back up. I did end up getting the full size switch to compare and noticed that yes, the battery life is a lot better. The screen is just wide enough to see held away from the face. It still fits comfortably in the hand. And TV mood is really nice to have. Plus- the system rumbles, which I really like. Over all , the lite is okay.

Great to reward your kids after a good day. They love it. Can't wait to play with it.

Bought as a bday gift for my kiddo - he loved it!!

Got this for my daughter, the device is great and very light to hold. We got if primarily for animal crossing and to ride out the corona virus lock down. Best move I ever made!! Ever! Only minor downside is it takes awhile to charge and when the battery starts to run down... it goes fast!

I bought it for my son's birthday. The games are limited so he uses his Xbox.

I've now purchased one of these for each of my kids and my spouse, great way to spend time indoors together! I see why they're sold out now lol but they are great! I'm surprised by the selection of games including titles normally seen on premium consoles and high end PC's! Yes the graphics are degraded (example Witcher 3, DOOM, etc) but seriously you can take these games with you and not always be tethered to your desk or couch!

I have a regular switch that I haven’t used on the TV in years. Bought this switch light for my daughter. I have to say, I’m impressed. If I were replacing my switch today it would be with another light version. Great way to go if you want a Nintendo Switch but care nothing about hooking it up to your TV. I think the screen is technically smaller, but it isn’t even noticeable looking at them side by side in action.
