I purchased the Nintendo switch lite to be able to play Nintendo games online with friends. My initial thought about the original switch was that the controllers were difficult to get used to. I enjoy the switch lite because it's more compact and it feels familiar to a DSi. The cons is that Nintendo Switch games are tailored to be played on a larger screen, so on the small screen, the scaling of words and details requires more eye strain. Another con, which is the obvious: it's meant for single player. So people can't connect more controllers to make it a couch-multiplayer console. So I would recommend getting the original switch so siblings and friends can play along. Overall, the switch lite met my expectations. I only wished for a console to play Nintendo games when I have some alone time and to relax. With the online membership, I'm able to connect with friends around the country and play little mini-games. Also, the yellow on the switch lite is a beautiful color.

Was looking for a Nintendo Lite. Good price. The haf the color I wanted.

Good size, my girls love it. Battery life not too bad, gives them a break while charging.

This Nintendo Switch Lite was for my child, and he’s had a blast playing games on it so far. The controls are easy to use, and most games are reasonably priced.

Great system but not IDEA friendly which is a federal law protecting my child with autism and I feel Nintendo switch or a bestbuy product should have a autistic friendly system in place. Oh we’ll need to remember our atypical brothers and sisters

Not a powerful as the original Nintendo switch but I can honestly say that if you're looking for a good hand-held gaming console for a small child then this is it. you can access all of the Nintendo apps just like the original switch but unlike the original switch, with the switch lite, you would not have to worry about removable joy-con controllers that can get lost or broken. definitely recommend the 32GB version for affordability and storage.

5 year old is really enjoying it. No controllers to lose for younger kids.

I got this Nintendo switch lite for my girlfriend and she loves it its hers first gaming system she has no complaints about it also we been playing animal crossing together and been having fun everyday.

Nice and compact device that is great for travel without having to buy an addition system for home use.

I love the switch. I would suggest getting an external SD card so you can download games from the nintendo game store, because they discounts regularly. Really fun and great for travel. Keeps me occupied when I have free time and some of the games are expensive, but quite honestly some of the games I enjoy the most are about $15. So shop around and see what style of games suits you best... But as long as you're fine with not hooking it up to the TV, you'll love this.

My son loves it. Its better when the sides dont detach. Much sturdier.

Overall the switch lite is good. Keeps kids occupied, especially on car trips. Battery life is fair but not great. Playing resource heavy games causes memory failures.

My girl love it! If you have a litter girl or wife that like to game I recommend this a 100% is a lot of fun if you play LAN or online with friends or family.
