I think this is great for someone who needs a second switch, but only for when they're traveling or playing by themselves. Despite the claimed more vibrant screen, I often find myself wanting to just switch back to my primary Switch so i can play on a higher resolution after about 30mins-1hour. The games I find myself playing on the Switch Lite are primarily noncompetitive single player games. I think the console is a great complement, but not a great primary and I will say, that what makes this console work very well is the cloud saves and active syncing. Thought I would use this console more than I would, but it hasn't really enticed me to game on it much over my normal Switch unless I wasn't at home, or commuting for long periods of time.

Fun way to connect while socially distancing... This was a gift for my youngest child. It allows some connection during these "distant" times.

So much fun that I want one for myself. I ordered this switch for my step son. It was hard to get my hands on and the only one in shock at the time. Kind of bummed I couldn't score one for myself because it's so much fun! Paired with Mario kart it's a win. Hoping they'll come back in stock soon. Especially the console that hooks up to the TV as thafs the one I really want.

Gave this as a Christmas gift and they really enjoyed it, tons of games to choose from that everyone would enjoy and there were no issues.
