This device is neat and does the trick when on a budget, but I much prefer the regular Switch. It feels more durable than the Lite, has a slightly bigger screen, and can be played on your TV. I'd consider the Lite for a responsible pre- or early teen, so they can take it with them places, but not hurt your wallet as bad when it inevitably breaks.

Nintendo has always been know for creating products that are out of the ordinary. This console is no exception. I love the original Switch but probably love this one even more. The size is just perfect and it is much lighter which makes gaming even more comfortable believe it or not. The yellow color they chose is also very stylish and attractive. Love the Switch and can't wait until they release the next version which I'm sure will come out eventually. Let's go 4k!!!

This is my first handheld in years. Last one was a game boy advance. Very fast load times and good graphics for a handheld. One thing that surprises me Is that the console has a matte texture all over. Took me a little while to get used to it but it’s good. Some games are challenging and would probably be better on the full sized console since it has separate joy-cons. Battery life could be better. I tend to get around 3.5-4. Hours. WiFi is painfully slow sadly. My house has speeds of 250 mbps and the console only gets roughly 25-30mbps. This is a known issue with both models so downloading games and updates will take time. Other than that it’s a great console. I bought super Smash and Pokémon sword with mine and I’m extremely happy with the purchase.

I've had it for a while now and I'm glad I wanted for this color. Very nice. The system itself is nice, definitely feels much lighter than the regular Switch. Battery lasts me maybe 5 hours with medium brightness on.

Great handheld system for only $199! A lot of bang for your buck! Much lighter than the full-sized Switch console. One drawback would be the battery life. You'll get 3-3.5 hours MAX. You won't regret this purchase!

My 6 year old loves his Nintendo switch! I’m really happy with this purchase

My daughter loves the Switch Lite so much that it's difficult to get her to put it down to eat! The best birthday present she has ever had, according to her. It looks and performs just as good as a regular Switch.

This is perfect if you're on the go, but more importantly, if you want to play at couple for a couple hours. This device is very light-weight and super easy to type in when messaging friends online. However, there is one thing which can impact your gaming, the Nintendo Switch Lite does get extremely hot after using it for several hours compared to the Nintendo Switch. Don't let this discourage you from buying it, just let it rest and it goes back to its regular temperature. Decent battery life

Great for a little guy to have his first console. Ease of setup and use are great. The Nintendo parental app is awesome as well to help with screen time control.

Great design, user friendly. Great graphics, vibrant and sharp colors. Fits in a small bag.

It’s a great alternative to the original model. Easier for the kids to hold and play. Down side is you loose the docking feature but if true portability is what you need this model is a great choice

Love the switch and love that i can carry it around. The battery life on the switch is good. The color is pretty also. I like that i can play the old school mario games on this

I LOVE my lite! I bought it for myself for my birthday. I have a switch for my husband and my son, the lite is lighter than the switch. It’s a nice size. And easy to take anywhere. I love it so much

I bought this Nintendo Switch Lite for my oldest daughter. She tells me it's a good handheld system. The system is light and portable. This system allows you to play the same games that you have on the Nintendo Switch.

I absolutely loved this switch lite I’m bummed I Couldn’t find it in the pink coral color but works the same I love that I don’t have to Have the controllers on the side

Bought this for my wife, who complained that the base model Switch was too clunky and heavy to play comfortably in bed-- happy to report that she approves of the lighter and more compact version.

I bought this one as a gift for another kid, and he loves it. It is light as the name, and great for younger kids. I still favor the Nintendo switch console.
