I’m not usually a fan of handheld portable gaming devices due to the size and the awkward way you have to hold it. I would rather use a more comfortable controller on a larger screen, however, this is the perfect size and the fact that you have options to purchase attachments to make it feel more like an actual controller was my selling point. While I still find using the the tv and regular controllers more comfortable, I will say they did an amazing job with this one. Battery life is pretty good as well as long as you’re not internet gaming with the screen brightness maxed out, then you get maybe a couples hours max I’ve learned, otherwise it does last longer on a single charge. I would suggest a screen protector as it scratches fairly easy, the only downfall, but thanks to the plastic screen it won’t shatter like glass would if dropped, which I have done a few times already and it has held up fine.

Nintendo has done an incredible job in creating the Switch Lite. Don't confuse this with the regular Switch. The Switch Lite cannot be docked to play on a TV, it does not have HD rumble, you cannot use it for Nintendo Labo, but this is all due to Nintendo creating a near perfect dedicated handheld device. The Lite is more durable, lightweight, and perfect for on the go. If you don't plan on ever wanting to play on your TV, then this is the Switch for you.

I've owned many handheld consoles over the years: GBA, DS, 3DS, PSP, and PS Vita. By far, Switch Lite takes the cake. The screen is large enough to display the details, though if your eyesight is less than perfect, you may have to squint on a few of the text-heavy games that were not designed with a small screen in mind (so far, I've tried several games with no real issues). The resolution and color vibrancy is just beautiful, sound is great, load times are minimal, battery life is impressive, and it's actually quite comfortable to hold for hours on end, even for someone with small hands like me! Beyond the hardware, Nintendo's library for the Switch is on par with Sony and Microsoft's offerings, which is a nice improvement over previous systems. Add to that the classic titles that Nintendo is known for, and you just can't beat it. Absolutely recommended!!

I ordered the Switch Lite because I didn’t really care about being able to play on my tv. It was a great decision, decent battery, smooth gameplay, user friendly platform, and it fits well in the hand. For $100 less than the regular switch, definitely worth it.

Great option if you do not want to spend so much money on the Nintendo switch consoles. A little slow but graphics are good and buttons are very responsive.

A portable Nintendo console what more can i say , If you have a few kids and share games buy physical . There digital games is real hard to share .Bought this for my twin daughter whose 5 and she loves this .Super mario deluxe and Kart are her favorites. I have one more peev though . Games 3 years old are still $59.99 smh

My son has has his original switch for a couple of years and finally convinced me to get myself a switch lite… I flipping love this thing! It’s so easy to use and it’s so portable and just the best way to unwind. Also, now I can sit on the couch by him and we can each be playing games but really get so spend so good, relaxing time together!

As an adult, this is fun for all ages! I love being able to wind down and take a break from real life. The buttons are easy to use, screen is a great size and a great picture. I love it! We bought 4 of them for us and the kids! My only possible complaint is battery life. If the kids are playing for an extended about of time, the battery drains quickly.

This is a great way to play some great Nintendo Switch games, especially if you're on a limited budget. Granted there will be a few trade-offs considering it comes in at about $100 lower than the regular Switch system, but overall, I'd say it's well worth it, especially if you're on the go, or don't need to hook it to a TV. Battery life is decent, and will probably vary depending on which games you play on it. With Lego City Undercover, I get probably around 3.5 to just under 4 hours on a charge, for example. But since you can still play it while it's charging up, that's really not too much of an issue, in my opinion. The screen is nice and bright, and very sharp as well. Nintendo certainly did a great job here, and the controls feel nice too. Like I've seen a few others mention, the overall audio could stand to be somewhat louder, but considering the smaller size of this unit, that's probably to be a little bit expected. Overall, I think Nintendo did an excellent job with this system, especially at this price point. The slim size of the Switch Lite gives it a great portability factor as well. I highly recommend it.
