Love it! Color is pretty! Works just like the regular Nintendo switch.

This is great for handheld and travel! Also great for when you don’t want to put on your glasses and look at a screen at a distance. I love how I can go anywhere with it and my arms won’t get tired from holding it since it’s fairly light. Very convenient.

Great for the kids, they love it. Good price no complaints.

it's a handheld nintendo switch - cheaper than the full features one, and perfect for on the go. you don't really need to read a basic consumer review for this - you or whoever you gift this to will be happy to play with it!

This Switch should only be bought if you know that you are not planning to plug it in to a TV. The build quality is good. I have used a regular size switch before and think the buttons feel better on the Lite than the other. All Switches come with 32 GB of storage, which is not enough, so you will need to price at least a 128 GB SD card in the price if you want to download games.

Easy to play kids love it .but it should offer more Education.

I already own the regular version of the switch but I didn't like that the portability of it, it's too clunky. So when this lite version of it came out I was in!. Truly a portable switch that is very light and plays as awesome as it's big counterpart.

Got this for my granddaughter and she loves it!! The colornwas hard to find a few days before Christmas but Bestbuy came through and we received it 2 days before Christmas

It’s a portable only Switch. Works for me. I have always been a fan of Nintendo’s portable game systems.

I love this new system. I’m having a lot of fun with it! My two biggest issues is that the games to play on the switch are expensive, so you’re going to end up spending more than $200 and it feels like the battery doesn’t last very (it’s probably a me thing). Also, your going to want to purchase the 1 year of Nintendo online because it the best value for your money. The biggest difference I noticed between my 2DS and the switch is I sank more money into the switch than my DS because with my DS 1) it’s cheaper 2) I already had games for my DS, so I didn’t have to spend so much on games 3) the games for the DS are cheaper. Piece of advice, compare games prices to see where it’s cheapest and then you can save some money.

I really like this even though the screen was smaller and you couldn’t connect it to the TV. My main issue was that the battery was much smaller and I found myself connected to the wall most of the day. I am a heavy gamer so this would more likely fit a child’s needs. The Switch Lite is exactly what it says it is: a smaller version of its big sibling, with the benefit of portability and the simplicity of being an all-in-one device. The drawbacks, of course, are that the Lite can't be docked, making it impossible to play on a full-sized TV screen, which basically negates the main value of the Switch as a versatile system that can make the whole family happy. The Lite is perfect for people who want a personal device to play games like Animal Crossing, or a great way to squeeze in some Minecraft on the go, but that's all it is. You have to decide for yourself whether that's worth $200. Personally, if I could have found a full-sized Switch, I would have preferred that, even though I already have one.

Small, lightweight and easily portable. A joy to play. My only gripe is that it uses the same flaky analog sticks as the full-size switch which eventually succumb to stick drift

The Switch Lite offers a much more comfortable handheld experience than the Switch, however to obtain this you are giving up docking. I would highly reccomend this to anyone not planning on playing on a tv, its much smaller so its even more portable than its predessor. However, if you are interested in playing on a tv I would look at the regular switch as the added functionality is worth the extra $100.
