Bought this for xmas for my 9 year old daughter. She has used her cousins nintendo switch and she asked for one.

I have had both the switch and the switch lite. This one is better for portability and haven’t had an issues with the controls. The joy cons are terrible for that and waiting to see if the lite will be plagued with that problem.

It has been very enjoyable so far. I'm impressed by the graphics.

It’s an awesome device overall. It does what is intended and seems like an updated version of the DS. Downside will always be the inability to use mobile data with it unless your phone has hotspots. But if you play offline games, that’s no issue. Does run pretty slowly once you get a few games and a bit of save data, so much so that my sister questioned why it took forever to load for a new system. And no, it wasn’t my WiFi because I have too notch WiFi and boosters around the house. I found myself not playing with it after about a month, but was unwilling to spend any more $ on games. Gets 3 stars for: Lag Slow load Overpriced Game prices too high Pros: Easy to carry along Animal crossing exclusive Lite is truly light and doesn’t tire your hands quickly

I bought this one for my son’s birthday. A little bit smaller than original Nintendo Switch and very colorful. He loves it!

Great console for children. Also, it includes parent controls which we can now monitor them on how long they have been playing.

Grandson loves his switch. Easy to play anywhere. At its price point I feel it should include at least one game but that’s life.
