Purchased this Switch Lite once Covid-19 reared its ugly face. The purchase was a great investment for being stuck at home all this time. You have access to some of the Nintendo greats as well as new games that are constantly releasing. Nintendo has come along way on the game content they offer. While they have titles for the more mature gamers, this system still heavily leans to the family side of games. I also have noticed it seems to take aim and anime fans a lot more than other systems. So the game selection is still a bit limited from maybe what other systems offer. Online isn't something the Switch Lite excels at either. Again, this is fairly normal for Nintendo though. Battery life is great on the Switch Lite! And as far as controls it is a clean, simple and easy setup. This is a staple of Nintendo over the years so you shouldn't expect anything less. The Lite also feels fairly solid so can take a few bumps is my guess. However, the Switch Lite isn't easy on your hands and I do highly recommend dropping some additional money on a case, specifically one with ergonomic handles. If you're looking to be playing a long period of time it is a must unfortunately. It isn't too comfortable for those long stretches otherwise. Overall the Nintendo Switch Lite is a nice purchase for a gamer on the go. While limited in a few aspects it still offers up enough to keep you going for quite some time. If you're looking to be blown away with performance, game selection and serious online options though, you'll want to look elsewhere.

Solid - I prefer the lite over the full or OLED due to just a solid gaming handled. The detachable controllers, at least for me, feel flimsy.

Great unit but had I known I would have bought the higher end version with detachable controllers. This is not like the old DS system where one host can host a game and the others can join. This is seriously a one person unit meant to play by yourself. Unless you are a loner, do not buy, pay more for the higher end unit.

This unit, Nintendo Switch Lite is a really solid, lightweight game console. It looks super cute and is way more portable than the original Nintendo Switch. The turquoise color is great, and the feel of the buttons is solid. Although the screen is slightly smaller than the OG Switch, everything looks great during game play. If you don't want to spring for the Nintendo Switch, or just prefer one solid unit vs the controllers being removable, or you're feeling like treating yourself to a secondary unit that's arguably more portable, this unit is for you. That said, if you're looking to go back and forth between the OG and the switch lite with Animal Crossing, it's a bit complicated... just read up on that before you purchase a second unit because once you transfer your island to another console, I believe you're locked in. Maybe you can switch back, but it's not like most games that you would download online that are more easily accessed by any console you have registered to your Nintendo Online account.

Love this item! I bought it for my disabled 10 year old daughter and she loves better than anything. This Switch will stay charged for a very long time which is a big plus in by book.

We bought this for our 4 year old. We opted for the Lite because it has less pieces to lose or break. It’s also easier for him to carry around and handle. The colors it comes in are really cute. There are tons of personalization options for the device itself such as skins, joystick covers, cases, stands, etc. If you have an existing switch device (still on hand) you can port over games using your account. The only drawback is games are just as expensive as any other console. With Nintendo, even old versions of games are only slightly less expensive which encourages you to buy the new ones, which sucks.

Pros: 1. Affordable 2. Easy to use and Set -up 3. Screen is nice size 4. Mobile and Light 5. Loads fast Con's 1. Some games are bettered played on Standard Switch(IE..Marvel Alliance III). On the other hand, Bayonetta & Astral Chain runs great 2. Joystick and buttons have no light(Hard to see in the dark) 3. Only 720p Display(Cell phones have higher quality screens) Note: Number 1 & 3 of Con's are "Deal Breakers", but just be aware

My daughter liked playing this lite for a little. its pretty good to pass time while on trip etc. It has served its purpose.

I actually really like the Nintendo switch lite. I thought I wouldn’t enjoy it but I did. I only ended up returning it because it wasn’t ergonomically right for me with tendonitis. For 99% of people this is an amazing buy and a great pocketable handheld gaming device!

The Switch Lite in Gray was mainly purchased in this color because we had it go directly into a case. Same with the other switch lites, these little guys are amazing for the kids.

Came in on time, and looks great. Loved the designs on the back and the colors. Feels lightweight and is comfortable in the hands. the screen is nice, and easy to transport around for gaming on the go.

Really sleek body and quick! Works great! Charging cord is extra long which is always a plus for inpatient kids who want to play while it charges. 10/10 recommend. Actually getting ready to purchase another one for my husband.

I wasn't sure if I would like it or not, but it is very easy to use. My daughter and i both enjoy plaing on it. Shes only 6 but has no problem at all. Great buy.

This was a gift for someone else so we can play together while away from our homes. She exchanged the Turquoise model for this one.

I absolutely love my switch lite. I’m 40 and use this to play Fortnite with my boys while they are at their moms house. We all connect headsets and play together. I can’t tell you how great this is as a divorced dad to be able to be with my kids when they are away. When the weekends come we all play Mario party together on the old switch and fortnite with these. Best Buy has a good price. I had returned one to Walmart as they sent me a European switch with an interesting wall adapter. Best Buy has the switch lite made for the United States.
