This review is for the Coral Pink version: It ended up being a perfect gift for someone who likes pink like she does. Glad I pre-ordered since they are becoming hard to find. Very satisfied.

My daughter loves it. Has had no problems playing this late version. She was just looking for a handheld console to not need to dock it to any TV.

I can play all the games which can be played in the original version, battery support is satisfactory. Nothing to complain about. A good handheld gaming console.

Niece cried when she opened her birthday present. Very happy.

Okay so your girl is a poor college student- I didn't want to drop 300 bucks on a gaming console for 1 game. Because both my brother and my significant other have a switch, I definitely didn't need one. Then this pandemic blew up. I don't live with my SO or my brother and desperately wanted Animal Crossing because it falls under the umbrella of types of games I like to play. I succumbed, as did millions of others. It sold out, both the regular switch and the lite. People started wallen and reselling them at ridiculous prices. I get it, we all need some coin, especially now, but jeez. The shipping was delayed by 3 days, but that's completely understandable considering the situation. Alas, my switch finally came in the mail after very impatient waiting. I bought Animal Crossing, the digital version, and have played everyday from April 24th until now. A day ago, the left stick started acting up. My character sometimes stops short while running or slows down. I looked it up and it seems that, that is a recurring problem with a lot of people. I'm slightly miffed, but mostly sad because I like to keep my stuff in good condition. I'm not mad mad because you can pair joy-cons to the lite, but honestly, for another 80 beans, that's 20 short of the 300 the regular costs. Other than that, I 100% recommend. Keeps me entertained. Maybe it does its job a little too well because I spend over 6 hours a day playing Animal Crossing- mostly because there's nothing else to do... but also because I lack self-control. ANYWAYS. Stay safe. Don't be an idiot and protest a cause trying to keep you safe. Tell your loved ones how much they mean to you. Wont stop playing ACNH, Beth

Got this for a "Game Happy" 8 year old grand daughter .... had to be pink - Terrific and would highly recommend ... maybe in blue for a boy

My students love earning time on the switch. It is easy to operate and i love that we don’t need to be connected to the internet to play.

The Nintendo Switch Lite is so fun. We have a regular Switch and added a Switch Lite so different people can be playing different games at the same time. The Switch Lite is, dare I say, more popular for one-person games. It's light (can't decide if this pun was intended or not), easy to move around, has a clear screen and feels just right in your hands whether your laying out on your stomach, lounging on the couch, or sitting up in a chair. We haven't done it much, but you can even pair a pro controller for more "serious" one-person gaming without being tethered to wherever you've already got a TV. My only real gripe is that transferring game data between the two consoles is way more clunky and cumbersome than it should be, considering that cloud saves are a subscription feature we pay extra for. Nintendo really needs to make that process completely automated or, failing that, at least a one-click option instead being buried three screens deep in an obscure menu.

My son is very happy with his Nintendo, I like that the joysticks are not removable since he can lose them. I am planning on getting one for my self

Love this! Its portable and light weight. Recommend if you want to play portable and not on your tv.

The switch lite is good for younger children. You dont have to worry about them taking off and damaging the side controllers

This is the second switch that I've bought, the first one was the original switch model, and I must say, that for $100 less, this one is much better. I love the feel of it, and it's a little smaller than the original switch. Both of my boys love it as well. The only disadvantage this one has is that you can't play it on the tv, but my kids play both of them more as handhelds anyways. I would say that time will tell on the quality as I've had issues with the controllers on the original switch, where the joysticks stopped working or weren't working right. I ended up having to buy a new set of controllers, which aren't cheap. If that happens with this one, there's no way to replace them, so fingers crossed. I would still recommend this for everyone!

Love this color. So worth the wait! The release date was April 2nd, so I thought I’ll be getting it the following week after shipping and everything. To my surprise, it was delivered to my door within the next couple days. Couldn’t be happier. Battery drainage is real though, could just be me

This is a perfect compact game console with all the necessary ingredients that a gaming machine should have. Is quite fantastic to hold and play using the hands. The BestBuy representative was excellent in helping me to decide between a switch and switch lite. When it comes to games, it seems not all games have the same kind of rendering pattern, like for instance Mario 3D was completely different when played on this compared to playing on a switch. Switch definitely seems to have high performance graphics hardware and more over with dedicated TV connectivity the experience will be different. But for handheld gaming console it's definitely worth and provides what it promises... . There are little goofy things which Nintendo enforces on their games like not able to share etc., but if we decide to go with Nintendo, we have to honor those. Overall its a well worth device.
