I purchased this product as a gift and stored it for 3 months before the intended birthday. About 2 months after the thumbstick broke or became loose. I unintentionally forgot to purchase insurance for it and had to communicate with the Nintendo service department for assistance. They sent the mailing instructions and I mailed it and they returned it fixed. Free of charge! Excellent customer service.

I would my Nintendo switch to my niece's and nephew finally got them there own Nintendo switch lite best gift to give them

I owned the original weeks after it’s release. Played it for a few minutes and liked the game lineup for it and the graphics for it were amazing for a portable device. Battery life though really was the downside of it. Also it’s flimsy feel of the slide on connected controllers just were annoying to me. I never found myself using the docking feature as I felt it was gimmicky. Who wants to play games in a lower quality resolution on a large screen hdtv? That’s why I got excited for the announcement and release of the Switch Lite. It had the pros I wanted, pure mobile only console system with a better battery life and solid build. The softer build material and solid build quality feels great in my hands. It’s not so oversized that it draws unwanted attention from passing people and especially kids. Battery life is finally enough to get a good amount of gameplay in. I do wish for a few more color options.

My son is so excited to have gotten this and it works great and does everything he wanted.

I bought this for my 6 year-old and he loves it. I have the launch edition and it's actually alot smaller than I though. It's also pretty durable since he's already dropped it on the sidewalk and had no damage visually. All the games I have are playable and the screen is big enough as well. The only minor negative I have is the battery does drain fast, so have the charger handy.

This is NOT the full switch. There are some people that are getting confused by the price? THIS only works as a handheld gaming system and will not work on your TV. Outstanding gaming rig. A lot of minor things that have been left out. Do your research.... some games will not work on this handheld gaming device. Some will require a joy-con to be able to play them. Excellent for traveling.

its a nice smaller version on the switch but very adequate. Bought the coral one for my daughter and she loves it.

I have a Gen 1 Nintendo Switch which I have connected to the TV, I bought a 2nd Switch for the family since we bought Animal Crossing New Horizon. The Switch Lite has impressed me, The buttons have a better feel to them and if you don't ever plan on hooking a switch up to the TV this would be the best Switch to get. If you have a family and want to play local co-op games than get the dock-able Nintendo Switch. The only con I have to the Switch Lite is that it does not have vibration.
