I own both a Switch and a 3DS. Recently, my wife has been hogging up the Switch due to COVID and Animal Crossing; so I picked up this little guy since I play my Switch in handheld mode most of the time anyways. I have to say, this is the best portable game system I've owned yet. It's so light weight and pocketable, yet as powerful as the regular Switch. I was concerned that the screen would be too small for me but so far I haven't had any problem with it, if anything, the display is sharper due to the pixels being more packed into a smaller display. This is the perfect marriage of a Switch and a 3DS.

This is a must have for Switch users. It’s a genuine extension of the portability of the Switch, and is nice for on-the-go play as it is notably lighter than its predecessor.

The Lite is a decent portable system if you have never used a regular Switch and have no idea about its features, most of which are missing here. It cannot dock to a TV, the screen is small and average quality, it has poor battery life, worse sound, no rumble, no kickstand, and the joy cons can’t be removed for local multiplayer. But you know, aside from all THAT it’s pretty okay. It’s a frustrating handheld because the buttons are actually far better than the normal Switch’s joy cons, and it’s lighter in the hands, yet it’s worse in just about every other area. It makes you wish you could just take those buttons and put them on a regular Switch, or the OLED. I’m not sure why Nintendo doesn’t update their joy cons with these better buttons. It makes their whole Switch lineup maddening because no matter which Switch you use, your experience will be lacking compared to another model. There is no perfect Switch, not even when you factor in third party accessories. So have fun with that I guess!

Good switch handheld very light easy to use still great

I purchased the switch lite for the portability. I love how much lighter it is in the hand. It fit comfortable without fatigue when playing for long periods of time.

The switch lite is perfect for me, as I don’t have time to really sit in front of the TV to play games! I also love this coral color. Super happy with this purchase!

Bought for my wife. She loves it and plays it non stop.

Bought the Lite to supplement the OG Switch already in the household that is claimed by my son and I. The Coral was a specific request from my daughter and we lucked out with being able to order it from BB during covid. The Lite is great for handheld and individual use....its slightly smaller and lighter than the Switch and its one piece construction has just that little bit more solid feeling. It isnt a replacement for the Switch, but if you dont need it for video output to a large screen or multi-person game play, the Lite is perfect....especially if the main purpose is for Animal Crossing.

To be totally honest: the most recent portable gaming platform I got before this was the nintendo DSi. But this is really intuitive and easy to use. I got this because I can't find the original switch anywhere because of the current shortage, so this is just a placeholder for me. But I think it's great for anyone who doesnt necessarily need the tv compatibility but wants to play switch games. The colorful nature and lack of removable parts also makes this a great option for a younger demographic if parents can't afford to drop the extra hundred for the original switch. I would definitely recommend!

Love that it's lighter and easier to hold, great color, just wish battery life was longer and that game sharing within our family's 2 stitches wasn't so complicated

Great handheld system. I love my DS and still using it but the bigger screen is a plus, definitely. Nice to hold and just a joy to play with. 2 thumbs up!

Better than the original besides the fact that it doesn’t connect to tv it is extremely mobile and light weight for people who are mostly on the go.
