I decided to trade in my original switch for the lite due to it being more light weight and more colors to choose from. It is actually an awesome experience playing with the switch lite in handheld mode compared to the OG switch. Not only is it lightweight, the screen has a greater DPI 'Dots Per Inch' Than the original switch, due to it being a little smaller. Its a great piece of hardware for the price.

I was very happy with the system overall. It was light wait and easy to control. If you are able to get one, I recommend you get the Lite if you don't mind not playing your games on your TV.

My only issue with this is the battery life, but considering its 100 dollars cheaper im still happy with my purchase. Its more sturdy feeling and better for portable play.

I did buy a case to avoid the sticks getting mashed. You'll definitely need extra storage if you plan to have more than 2 games on the system at a time.

It is a little bit tougher, the battery lasts longer and the screen is a more flexible material than the glass on the fullsize. This is perfect for a 9 year old that is going to drop it and get it dirty. Nintendo also has a growing lineup of games that are free and do not require any additional monthly subscription to play. (see fortnite, apex, etc.)

She’s been talking about buying one after the holidays and is so happy she got it for Xmas. This is a great way to pass the time and have fun! So many games to choose from!
