He It was easy to set up and right after he started playing on it with his cousin who also has a Nitendo Switch Lite. They had a blast! Nice price point in addition.

Great gift for any age

He plays it all the time . The battery life is great and the controller ever stand up to him .(he is 4) it is a great product highly recommend

Handheld only players - buy this instead!

Owned for 7 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Everything you love about the switch, except the ability to play on a TV, detachable controllers, and controller vibration. If you're someone who really only plays in handheld mode, there's very little reason to pay for the full switch - the only thing I've missed is the vibration, which isn't a deal breaker considering the price point. Do note, however, that if you have your Nintendo account assigned to more than one switch, whichever one isn't your "main" switch (in account settings) will NEED wireless connectivity to start playing digital only titles. It's not a big deal - set your phone to Hotspot mode, connect your switch to that, start the game, then turn off Hotspot mode. As long as you keep the screen on in the same game, you won't need to connect again.
