I used to have an original Switch that I got rid of, it basically sat in the dock unused. With the lite I just leave it in my backpack and it's always with me, while not being in the way. The texture on the console is very nice, provides a good amount of texture and feels good to hold. Can't compare performance to the OG Switch, but I haven't had any issues with the few games I've played.

My sister finally got her switch! She's had it for a week now and she absolutely loves it! Guess what? I love it too! I am itching to get my hands on one especially being locked down during COVID-19. I am looking forward to getting one in the future! It will be totally worth spending my money on! It is so lightweight and easy to carry around! I totally recommend it!

It's great to have a switch that feels a little bit more sturdy when you want to pack it in your backpack or luggage. The smaller size is hardly noticeable as the display is crisp and clear, but the reduced weight is noticeable after a few hours of play.

I was apprehensive to by the switch lite because it has the controls attached unlike the original switch with the Joycons. The sales guy told me to think like it’s more like the Nintendo DS. The only thing that I don’t care for is that it doesn’t vibrate like the original switch. Maybe it’s just the game I’m playing but I wish it did that.

Bought this for my son, he loves the color! Works great, he has a lot of fun playing all the different games. It works great for road trips, doctors appointments any time that helps them busy when needed.

it's not perfect. The biggest trade-off is that you can't connect it to a TV. This means you miss out on the big-screen experience for games that really shine when blown up. More importantly, those built-in joysticks can still get that annoying "drift" problem, and since you can't just swap them out, you're looking at sending the whole unit in for repair if it happens.

This is our second Switch and while it lacks the dock function (and detachable JoyCons) it almost feels like a better device as the unified design has a more solid, typical Nintendo feel. Let's be honest, Nintendo is the king of handheld and while you can play the regular Switch on your TV, almost everything looks better on the smaller screen.
