Text is so small in the games that I suspect anyone over 30 might need the full sized Switch.

this version of the switch lacks the "switching" function great graphics, great screen comfortable controls for the most part sound isn't very loud.

Yes the screen is smaller and you can’t connect it to a television but I love the portability and battery life.. ONE HUGE drawback is that you CAN NOT play games you purchased on the Switch Store without Internet connection.. zip. nada. You will have to connect to your mobile hotspot to even start a game if you are out and about.. THIS RUINED THE PORTABILITY FEATURE OF THE SWITCH LITE. Why not have the option of allowing one time authentication for all your games and expire in 2-3 days before checking again like what Netflix or Spotify do for videos and audio?!

Still learning about this machine. But so far, it's good at what it does. So far my favs are New Super Mario Bros u. and Mario Kart 8.

I bought this item for my super smart 4 year old grandson. He seemed to have trouble selecting the appropriate buttons in order to move the characters around. His hands are just a little too small. Unfortunately I returned the item. The recommended age is 6.

I only bought this because I wanted to play Zelda Breath of the Wild and a couple of other games (Mario odyssey, Luigi mansion). I’m going to give this to my daughter because I have a PS4 and I barely have time to play that anymore. You gotta love Nintendo though!

Works well but if it’s between this and the Nintendo Switch I recommend spending the additional money and getting the Switch.

I got this online the day before they were impossible to fine anywhere. BestBuy online is as good as the rest. Now for the Nintendo it's really good better than i would have thought... The only problem is the battery it dies super fast. If that gets fixed then perfect handheld.

I bought Metroid but my kids were not interested in sharing the household switch so I got one for me… best purchase made to date. I can still hang with them while I play as opposed to going into another space to play my PS5 or xbox

I bought 2 of these at Christmas time for my kids because we frequently travel out of state and it keeps them busy and occupied while we're driving

Got this for my wife because she wanted to play animal crossing with her girlfriends. She uses it daily and loves it. She has since expanded and plays some other games as well.

It's exactly what I wanted! I have to limit my time on it or I'd probably be on it all day. Display is great and most games are easy to navigate. I'm still a beginner but so far I love it. My son helps me with any questions I might have! The internet is also a wonderful too.

If you just want a handheld gaming system with great games , this is the one. Only $200 and it is made very well. The screen quality is also amazing.

Excited that I was able to grab this before Christmas this year with the frenzy surrounding the Switch this past year. I use the Switch to play on my tv and the Switch Lite on the go. Works great and haven’t had a game yet that isn’t compatible.

Smooth gameplay, nice screen. Perfectly responsive buttons and the dpad is much better than the original switch. If you run the same Nintendo account on a docked switch and switch lite, you have to move save files each time you want to play on a different system which can get annoying.

I love the construction of this system. I bought this as a second switch lite for myself, with the original being used more for family use. Although I will say there are some issues with having a second switch and how digital games are handled, but not a large problem for me personally.

Its ok i feel as if the bigger switch is a better buy

The Switch Lite is fine so far. I'm a little worried about the infamous joycon drift showing up in this where the joycons are not detachable. I'm disappointed in Nintendo, however, because we were expecting to be able to play our digital purchases on the Switch Lite, but Nintendo doesn't allow you to play under any other account than the one that bought the digital game. So, my kids can't play the games on their own accounts. Disappointing. I almost returned it because all of our games are digital.

I have yet to play it due to the fact that it was a birthday gift. But she hasn't had any complaints so that is a good thing

Great toy, slips out of big hands.. so getting the grip along side is a good idea. Me and my gf each have one. It turns onto the game quickly (less then 10 secs total), for a quick gameplay, and ti get off the game just press power off (itll start back up where it let off)
