After playing this a few times, and with there being some great games, I really like the Switch Lite. It's a comfortably-sized handheld with responsive buttons and joysticks. It's intuitive, unlike it's predecessor the Wii U. I am not a hard-core gamer, but I have been playing Nintendo systems since the original NES when I was in grade school. I found the Wii U difficult to understand and use in the beginning. Not so with the Switch Lite. I was very uninterested in the Switch when it first came out. Since this console had zero backward-compatibility, and it still cost the usual console price of $300, I preferred to stick with my New Nintendo 3DS, where I have an extensive game library. However, over the years, I've seen some great games come to the Switch, and with the NEW and Super NES games that can be played on it, my interest grew. But not enough for $300. The $200 price point is much easier to swallow, and honestly, I love the size of this unit. It's just big enough, light-weight, and the screen looks great. I do have a few downers on this unit however: - It's not very comfortable to hold for long periods. I found a great protective case for it that adds a grip feature, and that helps, but of course, more investment. - No backwards compatibility with DS/3DS games (yes, I know, hard to accomplish with a single screen). - The games are expensive. VERY expensive. Overall, I am happy to have purchased the Switch Lite. I was much more comfortable with the lower price-point, and I can enjoy a lot of the games I was interested in.

Honestly, this thing is pretty great and I was not thinking u would like it as much. It’s a perfect handheld, the screen is huge compared to past handhelds and even phones. The best thing is how slim it is, it fits easily in my backpack’s laptop sleeve for taking it with me. The only negative I have is the same as all handhelds: it is not ergonomic for long stretches of use (which can be good because consecutive hours of playing is not great for our body)

Part of the experience I owe it to Best Buy. GameStop has been a disappointment so Best Buy for everything now. Feels great in a petite girl’s hands. It has a matte feel to it. Screen is big enough

After being stuck playing on the TV Console, and not really being sold on many of the switch games at launch. I gave it a little bit a time for more titles to come out, and the switch lite has been a revelation. A compact design that fits perfectly in most hands, and overall incredible gaming and media consumer experience. If you can spring for the extra hundred dollars for the console version, I would say to do it, however if you can’t spare the extra hundred dollars but want to switch experience. You cannot go wrong with this. The colors of each version are also beautiful, and the feel of the switch makes it so that it’s not too slippery nor too tacky. A true 10 out of 10.

I bought 2 of these for Christmas of 2023 for my kids ( 7yr, 6yr at the time), and they are still holding strong a little dirtier but no drift to mention and no sticking buttons.

Great size and very light. My son loves playing on it and watches shows on it as well. Easy to use.

The Nintendo Switch Lite is an excellent game console for those who do not need docking station of the regular Nintendo Switch. The smaller console has a great over all feel, awesome resolution, light weight, and a long battery life. Provides hours of fun for kids to adults. It is compatible with the switch games and many of the accessories. With a Nintendo online account you can play with all Nintendo Switch players.

I love it we play it all the time my wife has a blast

If you don’t need to connect to a TV to play your games then you just need this version. It’s light and the colors are really nice. Will buy it again if a new limited edition or color comes out.

This is a great product which I am glad I purchased it.

It’s a Nintendo Switch Lite and its colorful with red and blue controls representing Pokemon Sword/Shield. Although not as fully functional as the larger Nintendo Switch. It’s easy to hold and game on the go with it’s smaller size. If you can afford to have two Nintendo Switches, this portable will do well with two player gaming. It’s also useful to have both systems if you plan to battle/trade in Pokemon with two different game carts. I would highly recommended it.

We got this so my daughter and I could play while we travel. She loves mario kart.

I bought this switch lite for my girlfriend during the Switch drought of 2020 and she loves it. This console is more for those who prefer to only play handheld as it doesn’t allow you to dock to the tv. The trade off Nintendo made with this version of the switch allows for the switch to feel better in the hand because it is lighter and more manageable to hold because it isn’t as wide. Which is definitely a plus for those with smaller hands.

After having a switch and playing on it I bought a switch lite to take my playing to the max! The switch is definitely a great device!

I had purchased an original Nintendo switch when they launched back in 2017. I wanted to try out the new Nintendo switch and found out that the smaller size was more ergonomic with my hands. Even though I'm giving up the option of playing it on my TV I am very happy with my purchase and if you're looking for something that's even more portable and I recommend getting the light version
