A 3DS Lover's Dream

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Now there are plenty of reviews out there noting the lack of docking capability as a major con of the Switch Lite, but as somebody who has played on all of Nintendo's previous handheld models, most recently the New 3DS XL, I can say that the Switch Lite is a wonderful model for quick, on-the-go play. Specifically on this Special Edition model, the etchings of Zacian and Zamazenta on the back of the console are gorgeous and stand out just enough on the light gray shell. The battery life is good. I've only played Sword and have spent a fair amount of time using its online features, which perhaps has led to my device needing charge more frequently than I expected. It runs a bit warm sometimes, and can be slightly loud (I assume this may be the cooling system of the device but I'm unsure). Additionally, joycon drift has not been an issue for me. Overall, if you are interested in the Switch Lite and are looking for a model for yourself or a loved one this Christmas, be sure to grab one of these editions!

Great but just get a full switch

Unless you are really on a budget just spend the extra $100 to play full screen with a controller.
