It was perfect for our 5 hour plane trip we were taking. He loves it. It’s small and light weight so it was easy for him to carry around on his own.

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had an original switch for a while but it just never felt great playing portable (and I spent 95% of the time with it out of the dock because I have a PS4 for playing games on the TV) This is lighter and feels more ergonomic to me. The bezel blends better into the unit and it looks more polished and feels better put together since there aren’t joy cons that snap in and out. I fully recommend for anyone that doesn’t really care about playing it on the TV! The one weird thing is the setup- which is fully a Nintendo oddity- it’s a bit of a nuisance if you already have a Nintendo ID you want to use but no longer have your console. It’ll work fine- but be ready to jump through some hoops to get it going.
