Great Device!
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Switch Lite has less features than its bigger sibling, but it makes up for it with portability and ease of use. It’s a bit less powerful, lacks motion controls, and the screen isn’t quite as good, but it works well with most games (though the load times and frame rate can sometimes suffer a bit). It has bluetooth, though, so you can pair external controllers and other devices with it. The storage is minimal out of the box, but a nice fast micro SD plays games perfectly.

Probably safer than gamestop?
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.(I was too lazy to put photos btw) After painstakingly trying to find one of these in person (which they didn't have in an actual Best Buy either lol) I decided to buy this one online with delivery. Even though my delivery was delayed I was still glad I got it on time at my doorstep. No bugs, glitches, or anything broken. Love the color too, that's why I bought it. And I like that it's an exact amount (plus sales tax but you know how it be) so for $213 and trusting a complete stranger to bring my console to my home I'd say this was a good purchase.

Excellent Console; Great Alternative to the Switch
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Full disclosure: I’ve owned a Nintendo Switch since launch and absolutely love it. I bought the Switch Lite because 1) I love Pokémon and the design for this edition is fantastic, 2) I wanted to try out the dedicated handheld, and 3) I was gonna get a great deal on it, so why not? The console itself is extremely sturdy and comfortable to hold. I remember being very nervous when I originally got my first Switch (since abated), but no such fears the first time I held the Switch Lite. It’s smaller, more compact frame allows it to fit more comfortably in your grip. The system also has a better battery life, but there are a few games whose performance is impacted by the console (a simple Google search will bring up a list). This system also gets very hot; considerably hotter than I’ve ever noticed my Switch get. The console also does not have docking capabilities. In all, the Switch Lite really excels as a dedicated handheld companion and addition to the Switch family, and it’s great for someone looking for a relatively cheaper alternative to the Nintendo Switch.

Best switch lite out there
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. In my opinion this one is the best color for the switch. Lite. And best budget option to play switch games considering the full sized switch is $100 more

Nintendo Switch Lite - Turquoise
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I already own a regular Nintendo Switch but I thought the Lite looked pretty cool so I ended up buying a Lite too. For the price, it is more than worth it. This is even more portable than the regular Switch as it is smaller and lighter. The colors are fun, I like the turquoise one the best but I had to decide between the grey and yellow too. It was a hard decision because I love all of the colors. The only feature I wish the Lite had is rumble. However, this probably won't bother most people. Overall, 10/10. If you're thinking about getting one, do it. You won't regret it :)

Best portable console you can buy by far.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.By far one of my best gaming related purchases I’ve ever made. As a long time pc player I wasn’t sure about the switch when it first came out, but I bought one and wasn’t super impressed. But, then I got this nifty little thing, and I’m never looking back at the full sized switch again. Super, super portable, great screen, and decent battery life. In fact, this little thing loads games faster than my girlfriends animal crossing edition switch. Plus, with a little work, I can fit it into my back pockets if I’m in a pinch.

Child-sized (more) portable switch
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Beautiful color and just the right size for a child. Make an already great portable system even more portable! Downside is the inability to connect it to your TV.

So Much Fun
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this for my daughter for Christmas and she loves it. The system is a great size and has a nice tactile feel to it. The screen is bright and of ample size. The system feel substantial in my hands and is of good quality. I also like that Nintendo had included a D-Pad under the left analogue stick. The only complaint that I would have is the same that I have with my full size Switch and that is that the buttons are on the small side. That is to be expected on a handheld system is suppose so not a very valid complaint. I

I Like it!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like the size of the switch, and it works great. If you are a gamer, I would suggest you get a microSD card. The storage may not be enough for you to play numerous games.

Best purchase
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Most people think it would be stupid to buy a switch lite if you already have the regular switch. But what compelled me to buy it was the beautiful color and that it’s 10000000 times better handheld than the regular switch (duhhhhh) every time I used the switch in handheld it made my hands hurt cause it was just too big for a handheld as well as I was uncomfortable to bring it anywhere like on trips cause it was just not as portable as it’s supposed to be. So I was interested in getting this for Handheld purposes and was gonna keep my original strictly as a home console. And it was honestly the best idea ever had. Really good console!

Great!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you don't plan on playing on a tv and don't mind a slightly smaller screen this is worth the price! It stays charged pretty well and it's easy to take places. Color is a plus.

Great Portable System! However...
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Full disclosure: I already have a Nintendo Switch (second generation) and I love the system. The Nintendo Switch Lite is meant to address some portability issues I had with the original, which is why I decided to give it a go. First things first: Portability. The original Switch always felt pretty good in my hands. However, it was always a bit cumbersome to handle sometimes and I would not play for extended periods. The detachable controllers are nice, but they feel a bit too loose and clunky. I have small hands, so I tended to feel uncomfortable while grabbing the unit, which now feels like a tablet. I hardly ever used the screen touch feature, especially since holding it on one hand feels unbalanced. So, upon handling the Switch Lite for the first time, I really was surprised as to how light and small the system is. I must say that it does kind of feel like a toy. I am actually able to put it in my pants’ pockets most of the time. I picked the gray/white system which looks a bit less “flashy” and fits my style. It has a matte finish that seems to be fingerprint-resistant. The unit features one solid body with the controls a bit more congested. However, this to me proved much more convenient. The shoulder buttons feel just like the original, but I can cover them easier. The action buttons are a tad “springier” and the replacement of the directional action buttons for an actual D-pad was gold. The screen is great, being perhaps a bit brighter (or bluish?). While the resolution is the same (720P undocked), it seems sharper because of the smaller screen, making a higher PPI (pixels per inch) display. Every game I tried looks gorgeous and plays just as expected. The battery life is about 3-4 hours depending on what game you are playing, the screen brightness and if you are connected to WIFI. It’s worth mentioning that the Lite does not have rumble features. So, the big question is: If I already have an Original Switch, should I get this one in addition, replacement or skip entirely? This is a complicated question and really depends on your gaming habits. If you play games on the go, on the couch or when in bed most of the time and do not own a Switch, I highly suggest considering the Lite, you would love it. If you would like to play titles on the TV, even every once in a while, I would recommend reconsidering, since the Lite does not have the “switch” feature and cannot be docked. If you play co-op or party games, then the Lite is not for you. While you could use wireless controllers in addition to the unit’s, the screen is so small that everyone must be within a couple of feet to see it and the Lite does not have a kickstand. Actually, several games do not work well or at all on this unit. I had a horrible time playing some puzzles in Breath of the Wild that involved motion controls. In the end, I must admit that the Lite has become the go-to console for me -and I have all, including a high-end PC. I usually play on the couch when watching a TV show or while on YouTube, when I’m at lunch at work or simply right before I go to sleep (not sure how healthy this is but…). One big gripe I do have is that I wish they had included Bluetooth compatibility since I mostly use wireless headsets. I mean, even the PSP had it. I do have a dongle, but it adds to the form factor of the unit. So, I guess it worked for me and I am very happy with it. Full console experiences in the palm of your hand? Yes, please! But honestly, it can be a bit hard to justify buying it if you have the original Switch, or worse, if you have the newer version (much longer battery life). I’d say just go try it; hold it in your hands and visualize your experience with it.

Perfect for long distance couples
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My girlfriend is very happy with her new Switch. Since she is away at college and doesn’t own a TV, the Nintendo Switch Lite came in handy and was much cheaper than the standard model. So now we can play games together remotely and it provides us a great date night activity. I should note my girlfriend was not previously a gamer, but has been thoroughly enjoying becoming one!
