My daughter got this system as her birthday gift in June. Everything was great until she dropped it for the first time and the thumb stick broke completely. I had to set up a repair with Nintendo which would be $106 to fix. I will not be going through with the repair because I’m afraid it’s not even gonna end up the same and might break again. I am now purchasing the regular Nintendo for her. Just put $100 more and get the original one, do not waste your money on this. Such a headache!

This is a good gaming system, love the different colors it comes in.

If you're going to primarily use the nintendo switch handheld, this is the console you should get. If you play multiplayer games or want the whole family to use it, go with the original Nintendo Switch that can be docked.

Outside of the SNES being my very first console as a young child, I have always stuck to PlayStation. On current gen I actually bought a switch and sold it because I rarely used it I’m docked mode due to having my PS4. However, the handheld mode left an itch the original switch also couldn’t scratch for some reason. I ordered the Lite because it feels like a true handheld console unlike the OG switch. The Lite just feels better when playing in your hands. It is now great having it around and I have a better love for it now that it works better for the purpose I need it for. Battery life is not perfect, but reasonable. I’ve played Link’s awakening, currently on Fire Emblem 3 Houses, and looking forward to BOTW. I have a new love for Nintendo and their games now that the Lite is around.

The Switch lite is really solidly built and it allows the kids to play together (we have 3 of them) without fighting over the regular switch. I also don't have to worry about them breaking or losing joy cons since they don't detach.

Purchased the Lite because the regular switch was soo expensive. I've taken this thing with me everywhere, on multiple flights, and have spent many hours absorbed into it. Reminds me of the PSP.

My son loves his switch. Lots of great kid friendly games. Seems like a quality product and very portable for travel use. Does not have the connectivity option for external tv would be cool if the lite version had an optional adapter.

The Switch Lite is probably my favorite way to enjoy Switch games on the go (Despite owning both console versions). The battery life is amazing, the screen is vibrant, and the buttons are crisp and functional

Arrived prefect and the kids play it daily. From the 6yr old dropping it to the 13yr old throwing it in his backpack, this is a durable gameing option. Nintendo has come a long way from the original gameboy.
