Very cute, would mainly recommend to people who enjoy animal crossing ofc, if not I would recommend buying the original or something else. Unless you are a collector.

Bought this gem right as the pandemic started and I even bought a copy of Animal Crossing ofc to go with it. I actually never really thought about buying a Switch for myself, considering I didn't really grow up playing Nintendo games; I'm more of a Playstation person but I don't regret my purchase. Nintendo has a great selection of games that are timeless and can be shared with anyone. I love the ease of switching from tv to handheld and the fact that the joy cons charge as you play handheld. Nintendo put a lot of thought to manufacturing a great console. Plus, the colors are so cute!

This edition is so much cuter than the original and I love the colors as well. I love the fact that you can play on the TV as well as it being portable with a very long lasting battery.

My wife really loved the color of this switch. One of the controllers got stepped on and broke and couldnt find another controller with the same colors to buy.

The colors of this special edition console are very pastel and bright compared to the standard Switch systems. I like the two tone scheme and it is really set apart from other Switch consoles so far. The slight texturing on the back of the console also is nuanced and looks nice with a slight tactile feel to it. Feature-wise this system is basically otherwise no different than the revision that released late last year and has enhanced battery life, and lower temperatures. So unless you are a huge Animal Crossing fan or just like the color scheme, there isn't an otherwise huge pull for a purchase here. Also worth noting is that there is no game included with the console, so just be aware.

The joy con colors look awesome! The dock is cool too. Other than that it’s just a switch, but it’s nice to have one that’s different.

the switch is a fun versatile gaming console to own. with classics like Mario and Zelda what could go wrong. i love the safety of gaming online when it comes to Nintendo. there's less fear for my children because of all the limitations you can set (or not set if its adult played)

Bought as a gift and she loves the design. Very good for fans of the game. Just make sure to buy it on side aide because it is not included.

The Switch has always been a great system but this was the first purchase for my wife, who is new to gaming. She plays it nearly every night and loves it. It was easy to set up, easy to play, and looks great! The colors are nice and light and look great on the shelf or in hand-held mode. My wife loves that it has the graphics from her favorite game. It came packaged well in the box and everything (minus a game) was included to start playing. One of my children liked it so much that they bought one for themselves.

Joy cons already drifting after less than a year, but outside of that the colors are nice and it's Nintendo Switch still. Design is cute and fun on the dock itself. Nintendo really needs to step up their games on controllers though. Opt in for a Pro Controller instead of replacing any joycons, they WILL stop functioning properly.

Picked up 2 of these as gifts. The dock is cute and you get the best Joycon color theme too! If you're looking to upgrade your original Switch model, this should be the upgraded battery model. Otherwise, if you already have that, you're better off buying the Joycons and dock separately from Nintendo where possible. For first-time Switch buyers who love Animal Crossing, but aren't set on the OLED model (because they play mostly docked or can't wait for inventory to restock), this is the next best option!
