Overall, I rate the Nintendo Switch 4.5 out of 5 stars. I love the ingenuity of the device; it is amazing that it is both a portable device as well as playable on the television. The display in portable mode is still amazing at 720p, and it is beautiful docked at 1080p. The Animal Crossing edition is absolutely stunning; I love the pastel green and blue colors, and the back of the device is awe-striking with the Animal Crossing themed etchings. Pros: Beautiful design, creative/versatile device (portable/playable on television), nice sized display, versatile Joy-Cons. Cons: Fragile and cheap plastic kickstand at the back of the device (two kickstands would have better supported the device). The interface is very boring and lacks customization (I found that the only interesting feature is that you can customize your Mii). The Nintendo eShop is like a landfill full of garbage. There are hardly any great games besides the top Nintendo titles. The eShop is plagued of overpriced mobile games, and even the games on sale are of low quality. Dock: The dock is simple to use; however, I found that I had to adjust the tablet at least once in the dock in order to get the device to connect to my television. Also, the device would disconnect after a short amount of time of nonuse (around 30 minutes). The dock's Animal Crossing theme is stunning. The dock's opening/flap made it easier to keep the cords out of the way. Joy-Cons: I did not use them unattached from the device often because I used a Nintendo Pro controller when the Switch was docked. However, they can be used in a variety of ways: separately, attached to the tablet, and in the Joy-Con grip. I love the versatility of the Joy-Cons! Joy-Con grip: The Joy-Con grip was quite comfortable to use, but I much preferred using the Nintendo Pro controller, which I found to be incredibly comfortable. I wish that the Joy-Con grip was Animal Crossing themed like the rest of the accessories.

the switch is a fun versatile gaming console to own. with classics like Mario and Zelda what could go wrong. i love the safety of gaming online when it comes to Nintendo. there's less fear for my children because of all the limitations you can set (or not set if its adult played)

Very cute, would mainly recommend to people who enjoy animal crossing ofc, if not I would recommend buying the original or something else. Unless you are a collector.

This switch came perfect and functions perfect. I’m not that into animal crossing but I love the design on it. I have put so much time into this switch it’s crazy.

Although this special edition, AC branded switch doesn't come with the game installed on it, it is a welcome edition to our family of Switch players, who are now all actively playing Animal Crossing on 4 switches, with only 1 of us (mom or dad) waiting waiting for our turn at Animal Crossing. If only we could get our hands on one more Switch console to get us through Covid-19 without those negotiations, we would. We've hardly noticed the shelter in place orders, since we are enjoying having our college kids back home, playing AC together most of the day. This has become THE switch dock for the living room, because it looks great. The joy-cons are the same great quality as you'd expect. And, the colors are great. The back of the console is very cool, too.

Bought this gem right as the pandemic started and I even bought a copy of Animal Crossing ofc to go with it. I actually never really thought about buying a Switch for myself, considering I didn't really grow up playing Nintendo games; I'm more of a Playstation person but I don't regret my purchase. Nintendo has a great selection of games that are timeless and can be shared with anyone. I love the ease of switching from tv to handheld and the fact that the joy cons charge as you play handheld. Nintendo put a lot of thought to manufacturing a great console. Plus, the colors are so cute!

Absolutely love the way this one looks! I originally bought the original switch and then bought another just for the Animal Crossing look and I absolutely love it!

My wife really loved the color of this switch. One of the controllers got stepped on and broke and couldnt find another controller with the same colors to buy.

The joy con colors look awesome! The dock is cool too. Other than that it’s just a switch, but it’s nice to have one that’s different.

This edition is so much cuter than the original and I love the colors as well. I love the fact that you can play on the TV as well as it being portable with a very long lasting battery.

Bought as a gift and she loves the design. Very good for fans of the game. Just make sure to buy it on side aide because it is not included.

The colors of this special edition console are very pastel and bright compared to the standard Switch systems. I like the two tone scheme and it is really set apart from other Switch consoles so far. The slight texturing on the back of the console also is nuanced and looks nice with a slight tactile feel to it. Feature-wise this system is basically otherwise no different than the revision that released late last year and has enhanced battery life, and lower temperatures. So unless you are a huge Animal Crossing fan or just like the color scheme, there isn't an otherwise huge pull for a purchase here. Also worth noting is that there is no game included with the console, so just be aware.

i had wanted a nintendo switch for so long i love my animal crossing edition switch. it’s the best way to unwind after a long day at work.

Great for friends and families or just playing alone. Love that it’s portable but I can also play on the big screen.

When receiving it and use was fully satisfied with my purchase.would recommend others to get their own device.well money spent and a fun way to keep you busy.

All I have to say is “Animal crossing” Tho definitely buy a micro sd for it cause you gonna hit max storage in like 4 games …..Unless your fine with that
