Love the graphic and light pastel colors on this console. Started Christmas shopping early this year, because God knows how long this pandemic will last. Was lucky enough to get this device. Bought it online with the option of shipping it to store when available. The team member named Thalia was very pleasant in assisting me with the pick up and advice and recommendations for my console.

We have been looking for a switch for months now. And finally Best Buy had some in stock. Absolutely love this console. The games are pretty fun. And the switch is easy to use and transport. We are not into the whole animal crossing video game, but it definitely looks nice on the console as a decoration. Definitely a perfect gift for someone that loves gaming!

Although this is extremely high in price and hard to find, this is my favorite Switch system! Everyone is always jealous when I tell them I own it. The design is very cute, fun, and well crafted. The pastel joy-con colors are awesome as well. This new system runs great and was a perfect birthday gift to myself, but would also make a fantastic gift for any Animal Crossing fan you know. Worth a pick up!

I LOVE this console! I got a Switch as a birthday gift over the summer and have loved playing Animal Crossing so much that we invested in a second Switch for the household. Now I don't have to share with the kids AND I get to have a second island (requires a second game disk, FYI). This console is adorable--great colors, and I love the embossed Animal Crossing designs on the back.

It’s a really cute switch! I really liked the colors which is why I chose it, but im a little upset that the switch didn’t come with the game installed. That was my understanding seeing as the old Nintendo 2ds special editions would have the game installed. I’m not completely upset as it’s the same price as the basic switch and again I love the colors

I guess thats kinda the point but surprised it wasnt bundled with the game being a special edition and all. I also wish there were different cosmetic choices but thats on nintendo not best buy tho. i was worried that I scratched the paint on the side of the joycons where you slide them in and out of the various rails and i kinda did but it hasnt gotten worse so i guess its just that spot. To be expected since you are bound to rub them together a lot throughout their lifetime? Will update if I experience drift. Good battery life since this is the upgraded console. This part of the review is kinda more general to any Switch but I gotta say its not the most comfortable to hold for long periods of time even with my small hands. I highly suggest getting a gripcase if you travel a lot or using the pro controller if you mostly use it at home.

My GameCube finally bit the dust, so it was time that I treated myself to a proper replacement. This goes beyond my expectations. Maybe I'm just getting old, but this is one of the more impressive gaming systems I've seen. I love that I can play Smash Bros in my hands without sacrificing quality or abundance.

i love having this, it stand out from the rest. i just wish Nintendo do more like this, like how they did so many different editions for the 3ds, why cant they do the same for the switch?? but yeah, better battery life, great to look at, get less hot vs my original, i got no complaint. If only they added the animal crossing game as a digital download code in it as well

Kids are so happy with this! I’d highly recommend it to families.

This was a gift for my girlfriend because she stole my Pokemon edition switch. She really digs it and I got her the 400 gb card with it which was on special. The colors on this thing are pretty cool... and it is well put together. We both love it. She still plays my switch for some reason though. Incase anyone was wondering. Might buy the Mario edition one.

The switch is indeed fun and exciting, but only at the MSRP. I chose to buy it not at MSRP, which is definitely not what I would recommend anyone else do--unless if you have money to burn, that is. Now onto the specifics: 1. The console itself. The actual handheld switch is very comfortable in the hands, personally. I also like that I can take it anywhere in the house, and perhaps watch Hulu on the handheld console while I'm doing the dishes, or doing the laundry (especially with the screen size being bigger than even my current phone, the Galaxy S20+). That being said--while they are loud--the quality of the sound from the speakers is a little iffy. 2. The Dock: The easy switching from using the console to docking and switching to the TV is one of the main selling points, and it should be! The process is extremely easy and causes no frustration for me--and I love being able to just continue right where I left off from having the handheld console, on the TV. 3. The Pricing. The pricing that nintendo has (especially for the people like me that like having digital downloads), is *definitely* something to consider before you buy this product. With things such as my kids accounts not being able to play the games I own without me buying them a *second* time on *their* profile, thepricing for using the Switch can definitely be costly.

My first Nintendo Switch and the console was smaller than I thought, but it was nice it hardly took up any room. The switch itself is so cute and the little island designs on the back are a nice touch. The joy cons are a pleasant and soothing color and the dock is nice to look at. One of the better looking Nintendo Switch's for the same price as the original.
