This switch lite is amazing utilizing its mini form factor to its advantage. I wish it wasn’t so close to the switch 2’s announcement as the hype was through the roof by then but it will be a console I’ll keep even while using the switch 2.

Its performance is smooth and with it's durable battery life it is more convenient way to play on the go than its OLED and normal switch counterparts. The screen might be to small for certain action-packed games. But overall it's more than enough to enjoy while not at home.

I honestly only bought this because I'm a sucker for gold Zelda-themed consoles and peripherals. I had no previous interest in the Switch Lite and considered it to be totally redundant to the original Switch. I was really pleasantly surprised right out the box, though. Firstly, it's gorgeous. It looks even better in person than it does in photos. It's also really nice, compact, slim, and lightweight, and actually feels much more comfortable in your hands than the original Switch does, which makes it an unexpectedly wonderful portable option. On top of all that, it's very easy to connect to your Nintendo ID and have immediate access to every game download you've every purchased through the eShop, as well as all of your save data (as long as you're a Switch Online subscriber). Just get yourself a microSD card for game storage, as the Lite only comes with the usual 32GB of onboard storage, and you are off and running. All around, I don't think I could be happier. The Hyrule Edition Switch Lite is gorgeous to look at, easy to use, and fun to play. Highly recommended!

I bought this as a gift for my 7year old nephew. The Hyrule Edition is a stunning tribute to the Legend of Zelda series. It's deep gold chassis and iconic Hylian Crest etched back, made it eye catching for me. He gets very good playtime on one single full charge, which is importantfor long road trips. I like that it has an expandle memory via a microSD, which I purchased as well. Overall, the look and performance have been a win win and he absolutely loves it.

Owned it for about a year now as a supplement to my switch for protability and I love it! Really nice to actually feel like I have something easy to throw in almost all of my purses without bulking it up too much. I usually wait on getting consoles until there's a Zelda version so I was also happy to see a fully gold switch come out to complement my 3DS XL and N3DSXL :) the color is gorgeous and slightly shimmery. My only real gripe is that Nintendo uses black buttons with gold devices which makes sense but I love the look of white. For a review on its performance as a Switch Lite, it does a pretty good job and is pretty good and staying cool and performing well. It's only in bigger games that I occasionally see stuttering (like Fantasy Life) but nothing crazy.
