I’ve owned the original switch since it launched, and I’ve played it in handheld portable mode about 95% of the time I’ve owned it. So the fact that the switch lite does not dock on a tv is not a deal Breaker for me. I think Nintendo could have added the ability, but I suppose they don’t want to cannibalize the “bigger” dock able switch. Anyway, the switch lite in my opinion is the perfect size for handheld gaming. I have fairly large hands and it is comfortable to hold and play for extended periods. I added this slim clear case that adds small humps on the back sides for your fingers / palms to rest on and I love gaming with it. It actually feels more sturdy in your hands then the larger switch. Probably because the switch lite is on solid piece, there’s no flex on the sides. The buttons are all very responsive and the d pad is what should be on all switch models! The screen on the switch lite is nice and vibrant and has very good viewing angles. I just wish it had some sort of rumble but still not a deal Breaker. Battery life is excellent. I think I average about 4 pushing close to 5 hours of gaming time before I need to recharge it fully. At $199 you really can’t get any other hand held gaming device better than this. There’s a vast selection of switch games, with hundreds more on the way I’m sure. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a switch but doesn’t want to spend $300 for it. You can easily overlook the fact that it doesn’t dock to the tv. This takes you back to the good ole days of gaming on the couch or your bed with handhelds! Nintendo should have called this the Gameboy!

This is the perfect Segway for the little ones who are starting to get into gaming. This is equivalent to my experience growing up and getting my first gameboy… nostalgia! Solid build but def recommend you get a screen protector and case!

This is my first game system that I have ever owned. After watching and playing Animal Crossing on my husband's island using his Nintendo Switch for months I really wanted a Switch of my own along with my own island that I can create. My husband ended up buying me a Switch Lite along with Animal Crossing. This has been the best gift ever!! The Switch Lite is so easy use to use and I really like the coral color. I have offically become a gamer!

I bought this console primarily for my autistic son since he loves playing on the regular switch we have. Got to the point we'd both game together regularly but some games he wanted to play required full controllers. Such as LEGO games and his train games on the device. Instead of buying a controller I decided to get him this, and he loves it! The switch Lite is as in the name, lite compared to the Nintendo Switch (old) fits better in my son's hands, the screen is smaller but I've noticed that the pixels seem more clean and crisp. My son was upset about the fact that the switch lite doesn't have vibration but personally with his autism its less stimulation. The battery is honestly solid, son and I spent a Saturday morning Grinding LEGO Star Wars the skywalker saga, bough a second copy so he had his own, and I was more surprised that my switch died quicker than his so thats a perk. Overall between my son and I we both love the little console, he likes the fact that it's easier to hold, easier to put in his backpack or in his words, "Not heavy in my pocket" Tempted to get the Zelda themed switch lite for myself, but I want to wait until we get his switch lite repaired. (Son wasn't paying attention to what he was doing and tripped and the console's screen is no longer responsive.)

I bought this for my grandson for his fifth birthday. His sisters have Nintendo switches. Can’t wait for him to open this and see this. He really loves the switch his sisters lol get tired of sharing with him so now he has his own.

Cute color for a girl! It’s popular with the kids & I prefer the Nintendo lite over the Nintendo switch that has removable controls. I bought the Switch with removable controls 1st & had to replace the controllers twice. The controllers are made cheap but are very expensive! Buy the Lite, it’s more durable!! My 6 yr old does better with the smaller size too! It fits in her hands better.

I’ve had the original gameboy, the gameboy advance, a Nintendo DS and 3DS, but I believe this Switch Lite is my favorite handheld gaming console that I’ve owned! I wasn’t expecting it to be touchscreen, but some aspects of it are touchscreen and I love that! The screen is a lot bigger too than I expected! It’s a very comfortable console to hold and it’s very user friendly! Also, the coral color looks exactly like the picture online!

I got this for my sister because she would alwasy play on mine and she loves it, i would definitely recommend if you have younger siblings

Perfect little handheld for everyday use. I have no issues with it for having it over 2 months. Perfect for people that just want to step in the portable world. I’ve been loving playing legend of Zelda ocarina of time

It won't be the best but if the most practical to be able to take it everywhere super fun and super practical its size there means that you can take it to where you go without a doubt a fascinating product

very cute and small! my original normal switch died so i got this. its really nice and easy to carry around and its the perfect weight to hold. my only problem is i feel like the battery life isnt long enough -- sometimes i feel like i have to charge it after 20 minutes of playing

After buying the Nintendo switch for my family, I wanted my own to travel with and not leave my family without a switch as well. This is a great option for that. I did not need it to connect to the tv nor removable controls, since it’s more for travel. I personally see no difference in gaming performance from the regular switch to this one.

Got this for my daughter who loves playing Minecraft, Splatoon and Fortnite with friends. This thing is awesome, so small but the screen looks amazing. I like the buttons better on this than the regular switch since they're less clicky and it has a real dpad. The only drawback I can find is it doesn't do auto brightness like the original switch. Battery life is really good.

Very nice product. Lightweight, durable, kid-friendly. Good brightness on screen. It does have a glare so Id recommend an anti-glare screen protector. All controls work great. Ours is handled by an 8yr old and holds up well. It has a sturdy build that doesn't damage easily. Comes with a charging cable. It charges within a half hour at around 5% battery and lasts for about 3-4 hours after heavy usage. That's long enough for our kid to take a charging break and get off of it for a while. This switch lite is easier for younger kids so they don't have to worry about handling the removable handles that need recharged after a while. This is a single device that has less pieces to worry about. The downside is not being able to switch to the TV display to play their games. But this one is the more durable option for on-the-go playing. It's smaller and much lighter than the regular switch.

Love it! Daughter loves it. Great color, size, and function. Also getting it from Best Buy using in store pick up is the most effective way I have ever shopped! Love them!

I got the handheld switch so I could take it on the go with me. It has been nothing short of perfect to me. I highly recommend!

I love this item so much. Very easy to use and beginner friendly for people that have never had a nintendo console. I would definitely recommend purchasing a microSD card because storage is very limited but other than that, I love everything about my switch!
