Now this past Christmas we decided to finally purchase it for them and we have all been enjoying it since! Definitely entertaining for all ages. I also really like that you can play NES and SNES games when you download them. Also definitely recommend getting extra controllers and a SD card if you prefer downloading games instead of the physical copies.

Great but get the oled version

I haven't had a Nintendo (played it as a kid growing up with other people's systems) and have had a ton of fun with this system. Easy to play on the go or dock and play on the tv. their online library is great for older games. I would try to get the new oled version vs this one. A little bit better graphics and little larger screen. Sounds like then new version (oled) will be the last switch before they come out with a new "console".
