I love my switch. Works flawlessly and so glad I had it during the winter months :)

The OLED model is a noticeable upgrade, especially for handheld players. The vibrant 7” screen, sturdier kickstand, better audio, and extra storage make games look and feel better. However, it has the same performance as the original, and Joy-Con drift issues still exist.

This console is AMAZING. Upgraded from the first edition switch and the audio, color, larger screen and updated kickstand are awesome. While I look forward to the Switch 2, I am happy to have this console and will definitely enjoy it for many years to come.

Graphics are so much nicer than my old switch, battery lasts SO long. This switch is worth the extra money compared to the regular switch. I can leave my switch and the next day the charge will be same. If it’s not being used neither is the battery really.

I loved my regular nintendo switch but I love the OLED more. I have poor eyesite so the vibrant colors and bigger screen are super helpful for me. The games are very clear and this is a great upgrade for anyone who plays a lot in handheld mode. However, if you plan on having it docked and play mostly on the TV it won't change hardly anything for you.

Beautiful console, the OLED display is a huge upgrade and definitely recommend getting over the original models. It connects really quickly to the TV and battery lasts a long time. I love gaming on my switch.

Absolutely the best way to experience the nintendo switch. The OLED makes a huge difference when playing hand held mode. If your a first time buyer or looking to upgrade, worth it.

Games on the go! Husband and kids love this console, they play Mario and Zelda mainly but the graphics are great! Husband goes on patrol and keeps it on hand for graveyard shifts and able to play with other users with hotspot.

While its not much of a size difference between this one and the original switch there is a little bit of a difference and its awesomeness! The oled screen is more clear and seems to make the display of the games look smoother. Its worth the wait to find one in stock!

This console has so many great uses. Great fun, Portable, built well. The OLED panel is the most beautiful screen I have ever seen. Product so good it will make you forget you have a life! 10/10

I’ve always wanted to buy a Switch but was waiting for a PS4 Pro/Xbox One X type system upgrade before doing so. This system is unfortunately not that. But it is the best Switch ever made and well worth the price. The OLED screen is big and beautiful and does make the system feel more premium than the original model. Colors are brighter and all your favorite Nintendo games look fantastic. The white on black color scheme goes great with the PS5 and Xbox Series in my entertainment system. The only reason it gets 4 instead of 5 stars is because of the lack of a true update to the internals of the system. A 4K 60 FPS switch would’ve been amazing but this is all we got. Overall though it’s a must purchase if you don’t already own the Switch or only own the lite version.

The oled screen for this switch is absolutely amazing, The legend of Zelda: Tears of The Kingdom, looks incredible on this screen, I can’t emphasize is enough, and the batter on it is also very good, and it’s overall a really solid Nintendo handheld

Was very excited to learn about the OLED display upgrade right after needing a second Switch at home. The upgrade comes with a slightly bigger OLED display that makes colors pop, great for those who play undocked. Quality of life updates include the dock redesign to avoid scratching, but the added roominess may feel a bit shaky when docking the Switch. The Switch shell is now metal, but at the cost of the cartridge insert feeling a bit finicky when opening and closing it. The short stand is now a full-length stand, which is so much better in stability. No need for an external Ethernet adapter as it's now built into the dock. You can now get it in black and white (much like the PS5) or in the good ol' neon red and blue. Transfer process was a breeze and I moved my games and Animal Crossing island without issue. The only annoying part was having to reregister my games on the home screen by plugging them all in one at a time, since I picked up a new MicroSD card. Altogether, a definite upgrade for those who play portably and are looking for those quality of life changes, but for those who mostly stay docked, you're probably best off waiting for a trade-in deal or a potential future Pro model.

A worthy upgrade from the original Switch. Every game feels refreshed in handheld mode. The screen size increase along with OLED makes things feel “HD”. Colors are definitely more vibrant. Better sound and feels a bit sturdier. Love the Docking station upgrades as well despite it not changing the overall docking experience in-game.

I am a complete gaming nerd and had the red box (second edition) Switch and finally decided after dealing with wobbly joy cons and a sub par screen in handheld mode, which made me never use it in handheld mode, decided to upgrade to the white OLED Model. Words cannot describe the quality upgrade in every aspect of the system. Let's start with build quality. This has newly designed joy con rails on each side of the console, the front half material is metal and the screen is actually glass, making a gentle wipe with a screen cleaning cloth actually able to clean the screen, the back is now a very hard matte plastic with the kickstand now the length of the entire console, it's on amazing smooth moving hinges and you can adjust it's angle to suite how you are playing in tabletop mode. Next the near inch larger OLED screen, I new it would be an improvement, but it is phenomenal, I now only play my Switch in n portable and am replaying games just to see them on that gorgeous screen, I have a very expensive TV, but it's 4K, Dolby Vision, HDR10, the Switch does not utilize my TV like my Xbox Series does. But it does utilize that gorgeous built-in OLED screen. Performance, OK so they say it's the same Tegra X1 as the red box Switch, something is improved, games run smoother, it has a smaller cooling fan that runs half as often. Every demanding game looks and runs more fluidly, some of that is the screen and how phenomenal it looks, but try I'm talking performance wise as well, I've heard it from other upgraders too. Now let's go to audio, it has all new speakers, now reviews said it's not a huge difference, it's a huge improvement trust me, max volume they are louder, and best way to describe it is just bigger sounding. No distortion, just another quality improvement that makes handheld play that much better. It also has a much better fitting dock. I'm pleased to say the battery life is the same as the V2 (red box) Switch, 4-9 hours depending what your playing. It actually takes less energy to run an OLED because there is no backlight the pixels themselves light up or for black completely turn off, why it has much deeper blacks. You get twice the onboard storage 64GB instead of the regular Switch's 32GB, and of course there is still the Micro SD expansion card slot to add more storage. For 50 more dollars than the standard Switch model you are getting improvements in every category, it's a tad heavier, but that's because of the better build quality and it's a tiny tiny bit bigger. And the design change goes internal, just know the internals layout has been revised in this model the changes aren't just skin deep. It is worth upgrading even if you already have the standard Switch. It's extremely worth upgrading, I now play it everywhere and it's so solidly built it actually feels like it it's not going to break, I would not drop it, but it definitely has a premium build quality as it is the premium Switch. I am so glad I upgraded. If your buying a Switch the 50 dollars extra is easily easily worth it.

I bought this for my daughter. She loves it! She has not put it down siince. This is an upgrade to her older Switch. The size is great. Larger screen, better graphics. I would highly recommend purchasing this Switch gaming system for your gamer on the go.
