Looks way better than the regular switch. Even if the screen wasn’t better I’d still buy it just for the kickstand.

The oled upgrade is worth it in my opinion for only 50$ more , if you are just getting a switch for the first time id reccomend the oled over the original one , ive had the original and it is nice but oled is def way better. If you already have the original and want an upgrade id still reccomend it if you have the money for it , plus you could sell your old switch to pay towards the new one

The ONLY, and I mean the only reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 is because: 1. It doesn't seem like the controllers hold a charge for as long as they should have 2. Putting in a game cartridge (Card) if one doesn't want to download from the store is more difficult than the old school ways of putting in a cartridge, etc. That's pretty much it. The rest is pure brilliance, although shortly outdated once the Switch 2 comes out no doubt. My kids absolutely LOVE this game system, but what I personally miss is the ease of use controller stick of the Wii as well as the seemingly faster response time with that extra controller pack that the Wii had. Wii Sports Resort was one of my most favorite games ever, and the Nintendo sports package this came with just seems to pale in comparison. However, it is still a great system with lots of games, and hours of family fun. I definitely recommend it!

Love the Switch platform! From handheld on OLED to big screen play, this is a versatile compact gaming system. Tons of games available from every genre. Big shout out to Best Buy for my online order being ready for pick up in less than an hour from placing it.

Bought this cause it is OLED and a little bigger screen. I do have the original Switch and side by side there is a big difference in picture and screen size. Games like Mario that are usually colorful look very gorgeous and more alive. I don't know why manufacturers like to wait to bring out this updates later in the systems life cycle when they can do it from the beginning. Oh yea money that is why, they want our hard earned money.

I was very impressed with this system, the fact that it can be handheld or connected to the tv is a huge plus! My 5 year old is able to control it just fine on his own and it’s not super complicated.

I got this for my brother as a surprise and he hasnt been able to put it down! The graphics are stunning, and the larger screen is so much nicer.

Love using this to play games with my friends. The oled version really is a lot better than the normal switch especially since the screen is larger.

This is a fanatic upgrade to the normal Switch. Everything about it screams premium. From the display to the new stand to how the joycons feel more firmly snug when attached, the Switch feels like a device for an adult rather than a toy for kids. But really, what makes the upgrade worth is the OLED screen. It is simply gorgeous and if you play in handheld mode at all it’s easily worth the upgrade. That being said, if you play docked most of the time, it’s not worth the upgrade. However, if you find yourself playing a healthy mix of handheld/docked, definitely consider selling your older model to someone who doesn’t care about this new one and get it. You’ll be glad you did.

If the PS Vita had an OLED screen this is what the Switch should have been at launch but here we are. If you already have a Switch and enjoy it then you should skip this upgrade. This model exists for first time buyers or those with disposable income. I play handheld 90% of the time so I had a Switch Lite but there was that 10% time when I wanted to play dock with friends. Sold my Lite and purchased this. Took some time to get used to the size (I sometimes miss the compactness of the Lite) but the OLED makes it all worth it. There are OLED torture tests on YouTube and based on their results I wouldn't be worried about screen burn in.

Highly recommend to anybody play on the go or at home with friends or alone regardless its so much fun screen is bright and battery lasts for a couple days
