If you can get your hands on this beautiful little OLED screen do it now. I lucked out one day in Best Buy and saw a small stack behind the counter. Fantastic fun in the Nintendo world for families and even some selection of more "gamer" games including some great oldies like Skyrim and Knights of the Old Republic. The portable OLED screen is going to be awesome when traveling.

OLED version of Switch is night and day difference, improvement. Of course if you only play docked than there is little reason to upgrade. Deep inky blacks and infinite contrast strikingly clear .

Overall, I'd say worth it. Good size screen, bigger internal storage, battery isnt bad get a few good hours in. Love the upgraded dock for it. Had the original, held out for a while but finally gave in and bought it.

Works at home on my big tv as well as outside as portable device, only issue was that at my airbnb it was unable to turn off the display and cast to the tv after being docked. I had everything plugged in right. When i came home it worked with my big tv again, so whatever i guess but it is confusing why that didnt work

Its awesome! My first Nintendo and a hand-held gaming device. After buying gaming laptop I realized while its portable, it isnt portable enough (due to power consumption and size) for me to take it from one place in the house to another. Got Nintendo and what a game-changer it has been. Also, games lately have been pouring for the console so make it even better.

Fun handheld game. Graphics are amazing on the oled screen. Worth the update.

My son using the Nintendo switch for almost 9 months now. We had waited for OLED model to be available in the market then and we felt it was worth waiting for OLED display. Easily connects to TV and great experience playing the games. You can find some games for free, but popular games are bit costlier. Overall it work’s really good.

[Employee of bestbuy] First off, im a PlayStation guy. Have been since the beginning. So imagine my surprise when i basically blew my PS5 budget to get a Switch OLED!! Heres how it happened. My son is 4. He had expressed some interest in gaming so we tried some kids titles on my PS4. Nothing really resonated with him. They were either far too simple or far too complex. Enter Kirby. Somehow or other my son found playthroughs on youtube and he became obsessed. We decided to wait for his pre K graduation, then moved it up to Easter, then after a couple of days, i just freaking bought the OLED, and Kirby Forgotten Lands and Zelda Breath of the Wild and Pre Ordered Return to Dreamland. It all happened so fast that im still not sure what exactly happened. But i have the Switch and my son loves it and i love playing Kirby with him. Is it the best gaming system ever? No, not even close. But is it the best gaming experience for me and my kiddo? Yes, by a long shot. Guess the PS5 will have to wait awhile longer… thats my story. Hope it helps with your decision.

I really love the Nintendo switch for my 7 year old daughter. I thought it would be too advanced for her but she started playing it right away and understood everything. Very easy to start up and i love that we can download the games right into the switch. Love that we can connect it to the TV and have the family play. I was very nervous about this purchase but i'm glad I bought it.

Great portable device which gives the user hours and hours of entertainment.

So heres the thing. I was very apprehensive on updating/upgrading to the oled switch but i am glad i did. I have my regular switch and now the oled. I did get a switch lite but returned it do to battery longevity issues and decided to get the oled. Onky issue im having with the nee seitch is the right joy con. It is doing a lag thing while in any game. Well that doesnt mean i cant get two new joy cons or even refurbished ones. But over all the system is great.

Love the Oled. Worth every dollar. Screen is much nicer
