I bought the OLED model only for the the screen quality but it has longer batter life too

In my opinion, worth the wait. I preorder the first generation Switch when it came out and while I loved the unit, the fan was loud and the battery lasted only when not using the joy cons. The OLED screen is nice and larger. Super bright even on the lowest setting in the dark and silent. So no more loud fan. I think the old needed a break. Maybe because it’s new, but it seems to run a lot smoother as well. If the first Switch work perfectly for you and you can’t justify the spend- you’re not missing too much.

i have literally played this nearly nonstop since i got it. it's great! it's almost a shame the switch 2 is imminent now because this has been the best version thus far!

I love the OLED after upgrading to it from my switch lite, I've managed to play a lot more of my game library now and the OLED screen is a big bonus for enjoying games I've already played. The docking mode is a big bonus compared to the switch lite as well. The white color is pretty and works well with various cases

The Oled is a massive upgrade. Battery life is good too. Wife loves it.

The OLED screen is a nice improvement on an already great system. I find sound markedly improved. Build quality is just a little less creaky than my original. Of note, the whole central screen chassis is slightly larger than the original, and requires different 3rd party grips/cases if you use them. Ultimately, not a huge upgrade over the original, but very worth it if you need another system or can sell your old one. If it's your first Switch, the extra cost is worth it IMO.

I was never sold on the original Switch because of the screen quality. I use the console on the go, and the better screen on the OLED version is what got me to purchase a Switch. I bought my original white Joy-Con and dock OLED Switch online, but always wanted the classic neon blue and red joycons and the black dock that makes the colors pop! Fingers crossed the Joy-Cons don't get stick drift.

The issue is mostly nintendo's software and operating system. The product itself is great but the controller joysticks are trash, quick to get the infamous stick drift. Forces you to invest in a controller. Game catalog is nice. And most games run pretty well, until the controllers ruin the experience. And the switch online membership is absolutely necessary to even enjoy most games. Sooo, Considering everything....price is a bit high. A Solid 6/10 (buy the console with SD card and at least 2 games of your liking otherwise you'll find yourself leaving it in the dock while you do something else instead.

Overpriced a bit, but I wanted it that day so whatever. Console works great, but has been out FOREVER so I think it's time for a refresh Nintendo :/ Games are stacked tho. Exclusives on exclusives so that's very nice. I really only play MK8 consistently and it's still worth it to me. Also online is extremely laggy at times even when using wired due to p2p being the only way to play online.Nintendo charges $3.99/month for online, but no dedicated servers :( This is kinda a scam but whatever. It was free for years. Xbox and playstation have servers so much better experience. I'd pay a few bucks more so my connection doesn't constantly go "cannot connect to other consoles" because their wifi sucks...

This was a after Christmas gift and it was the perfect surprise. The gift was accepted with lots of hugs and crying. Thank you so much for having this in stock it made their day.

I love the Switch, it's my favorite gaming device. I got the protection plan with it (for good reason) and let's just say I'm so glad I did! Geek squad has been great when my left Joycon stopped working.

The Nintendo switch has beautiful graphics for a small screen. The stand is solid and let's you play two player without thinking the screen is small. It feels like a safe system with lots of kid-friendly titles like in the Mario ecosystem. Parents can set time limits and restrict purchases and online engagement. Overall, it's a hit for this family

Good battery life, great graphics from Nintendo nice color option

Whichever version of the Switch that you get, is a huge deal! I choose the OLED because of the screen being more bigger and brighter, the colors are incredible. In love with the experience!

Very nice the buttons are starting to wear out after only a few uses over the past year. It does look beautiful and lasts longer than the original switch. The oled was worth it and also the white works well with my aesthetic
