While there are no internal differences between the original switch and this OLED version, the OLED screen is stunning and the minor but welcome changes to the kick stand and speakers truly makes the OLED version of the Switch the definitive version of Nintendo’s beloved handheld. 9/10, would be a 10 if they boosted the internals but nevertheless it is an amazing machine and well worth the upgrade - especially if your a handheld enthusiast.

This is a great game console, my daughter loves it. The only downside as any other game console is how pricey the games can be. But overall this is great!

WE BOUGHT IT FOR OUR GRANDDAUGHTER , THEY BOUGHT A NEW HJOUSE AND THEY COUD NOT WATCH TV BECAUSE THEY COULD NOTT GET CABLE FOR 3 WEEKS THEY WERE SO BUSY FROM ALL THE CONSTRUCTION OF NEW HOMES GOIG UP IN THERE AREA OF FLORIDA ,SO THEY ENDED UP PLAYING THE SWITCH ALL THIS TIME TOO KEEP THE 2 GRANDDAUGHTERS BUSY AND THE WHOLE FAMILY THEY LOVE IT

OLED is a game changer! The switch is really easy to use and the screen is absolutely beautiful!

Came from a switch lite and—wow!—what a screen! You’ll hear comments about the switch being too heavy, but I didn’t find that to be a problem. The screen is great, the kickstand is awesome, the power button is better, and the dock has an Ethernet port. If you’re looking for the definitive Switch this generation, this is it.

An awesome device, I grew up with Nintendo products and this one did not disappoint. The kids love it just as much as the adults!

just got my hands on this. Its SOO much clearer to view games on the handheld mode. Paired with a pro controller and TV, this is PERFECT for Mario Kart. If you can get it, GET IT!

I’ve owned it for a while. The screen is nice. Has a good amount of glare tho. Everything looks like it’s soft and has good lines. Very vibrant

I love the Switch OLED, If you're a Nintendo fan this is 100% the console for you. Its portability is great and truly makes the OLED screen shine. I also got the 2-year plan along with it, which makes me feel safe that if something happens to the console it will be fixed.

As a grandmother I got this to keep for my grandchildren to play when they visit. I am choosy about games but so far they love it! I am a secret fan as well for Animal Crossing New Horizon .

I bought this for my girlfriend and she loves it. The bigger screen makes it so much easier and it has a bigger kickstand than her last one.

Everything about the OLED model is how the switch should have been from the beginning, from the bright and clear screen, a built in LAN port on the dock, and last but absolutely the biggest thing: The kickstand. The original switch is a joke and should never have been released with that kickstand. If I didn't enjoy playing the games, I would have returned the original switch as soon as I got it back then just for the kickstand.

I love the Switch OLED. Since the benefits are pretty much just handheld, I’ve replaced my Switch Lite with it and the screen is so beautiful. Love the better kickstand as well. Had some problems when I first got it with joycon connection, but I think it’s because we had 3 switches in the same room, because I haven’t had any issues while alone.

Gaming system is nice and portable. One of the great advantages is the detachable controllers. Definitely comes in clutch during multiplayer games while traveling.

I’ve had the original switch since launch. When I got my OLED and compared the display side by side it was no comparison. The display is so much better and the slight size difference looks much bigger in real life. The sound is also better but not by much. With how prices are going you can easily sell your old switch and get the new one. The built in lan port works much better than using a usb adapter on the old switch as well.

Incredible handheld gamer. The OLED screen is fantastic. Sharp and bright like the best iPhone or Samsung. Clearly see a difference in OLED versions vs other Switch models. MarioKart and Pokémon games were smooth and intensely fun. Hooked up to the tv easily and we played 2 person MarioKart. Game was easy, just like when we had a wii years ago. If you played MarioKart in the wii then you’ll recognize some of the race tracks.

[Employee of bestbuy] I love this switch. The OLED is so much better than the orginal, The screen is a little bigger, The brightness is awsome and I love that it has a stand to prop it up so you dont have to hold it. I play so many games on it and it is definitely worth the price paid!
